I went to the Henry Ford Museum/Greenfield Village for 4th of July.
A ragtime band and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra (one of the most esteemed and veteran orchestras in the nation) played.
The fireworks were spectacular as well.
I really enjoyed myself.

This was my first 4th of July in my new house and neighborhood, so we weren't prepared for the 8 or more houses shooting off fireworks, we were surprised, it was very cool, we were also a little scared by how close they were to the houses, however. It was like a fireworks show on all sides, which I found funny becuase we weren't planning on going to any show this year, for the same reason I haven't been online lately. Because, this was, for my family, the worst 4th of July.

There were a couple places shooting fireworks here. They shot off some more yesterday. neutral
