David freaking Cook!
His post-Idol music didn't amount to much, but he was by far the smartest, most strategic Idol contestant ever on the show (Kris is close). His covers were amazing. He and David A. put on the greatest Idol finale ever, to this day, and season 7 is the greatest, most well-rounded Idol season ever!

I LOVED David Cook's album! Light On, Lie, Avalanche, Permanent, and The Time of My Life are all awesome, and I know the words to all of them!
I like the other ones too, just don't have them memorized XD
