I don't suppose there are any Angelspit or The Birthday Massacre Fans in this guild? Those are my current two favorite bands. =]

Dunno if there's any mods around. *points up at the "Music - Related Topics" subforum*
That's where a topic like this would usually go.

I generally enjoy the Birthday Massacre, but am never compelled to listen to them. I think they're a good enough group, but I have no interest in buying albums or hunting down tracks.
Angelspit I find pretty bad, on the other hand. I bought "Krankhaus" on a whim and regretted it later that afternoon. It's ranked amongst the five worst albums I own.

I used to love The Birthday Massacre, I thought that Nothing and Nowhere and Violet were two of the single greatest albums ever.
Unfortunately they released Walking With Strangers my admiration for them went down the toilet.
Angelspit is pretty bad but when Nurse Grenade comes on shuffle I usually enjoy it.

I haven't heard them at all and don't want to buy something of theirs and regret it.

Been a fan of both for over two years now. The only thing is that "Walking With Strangers" deeply disappointed me. I couldn't believe I was listening to a Birthday Massacre album. The only song I liked somewhat was "Science".

I'd like to beat Angelspit down with a tire iron. Does that count?

The Birthday Massacre isn't a bad band, but I have a somewhat biased opinion of them due to their fanbase and the popular misconception that they are goth. Immature of me, I know, but it definitely influences my perception of their music. I find them mediocre and boring, but no necessarily worthy of the harsh criticism they usually receive.
As for Angelspit, I'm going to have to agree with both Oscillator and Gil. Admittedly, I listen to some EBM (especially along the lines of aggrotech) and enjoy Post-Industrial music in general, but I can't stand this band one bit.
