Dude. Did ANYONE notice my posterboards w/pics that I stayed up till 1am doing????
Anyway, There were only FOUR flutes!!!!!
I think for only four we did a kickass job. :]

hmm it would have been perfect except for The Patriot, I didn't think we did that good and towards the end we were SO off*cough cough*-wonder why- but otherwise I think we all did a good job.
Oh yes and the flutes were excellent since technically ther were only TWO flutes cause the other two were badly out of tune.

I know right?!?!?!?!
During the Patriot, Mrs. C kept yelling at Tristan to push in and Pull out the head joint because he was so terribly out of tune. SO was the other girl who's name escapes me. Ellia and I were like praying in our heads the whole time because 1) we had to play loud and if we messed up we were screwed, 2) because we didn't want the devil eyes 3) because we didn't want to go out of tune because if we did the whole section would be screwed. ANywayz, we still did a good jobe for only four. in fact, i think we did better with four than we did eight during the school year. I forsee a good flute section next year. Yayz!
I was the only 8th grade flute though. I felt like all the othetr 8th grade flutes were traitors. grrrrrrrrrrr....

Okay I admit if I had been able to go I would have skipped the concert too.

lol yeah I don't think that the flutes were really loyal to the band cause non of them showed up on the day of the concert but other eighth graders did. poor you. BUT U IS GOOD whee I bet the flutes will be good next year too. lol but you guys will still have a lot of work ahead of you mrgreen

All i can say is...
I hate symphonic band percussion.
They dont know the music, take forEVER to learn, and they just flat out suck. Yep.
And the mallets were AWFUL crying i was disgraced!
