Ok, so Panda gave me an idea.
In the Introduce Yourself post, she had us write the first five things that pop into our heads, yes?
I think it would be fun to make that into a game.
Think of five random things.
Write a -literate- poem that includes all of those five things.
It has to make a little sense, though..
Fun, right?

So, I cheated. Instead of using my own words, I stole Panda's.

We saw deer tracks,
Freshly pressed into snow
Like the kisses you pressed
Into my skin.
The air, crisp, kissed
You and me
And the deer--
Wherever they hid.
The beer, amber
In the light
Through the open tent flap
Warmed our veins,
And we warmed our veins
In each other's skin
With kisses pressed
Like tracks into snow.
You rose out of the sleeping bag,
A swan burst from the lake's mirror,
And your skin, warmed to the veins
With snow and my kisses.
And you asked if we could play rummy.
“That,” I said, “would be lovely,”
With you.

Not my best, but I like it. In continuing the theme, and maybe modifying the rules of the contest, I provide 5 words for some other intrepid soul to attempt to make a poem out of.
The words: god, coffee, bent, letter, poor

I'll try your words. :] Although I'm not really Christian... ><
A teary letter to the poor
is complicated, nothing more
than a piece of paper, coffee stains
that mark the places God remains
to bring a peace of mind and heart
to wind two paths that bent apart,
so when the hourglass runs dry
Godspeed this letter surely flies.
What do you guys think? o:
Whoever goes next doesn't have to use these, but I'll just give the option. c;
jealousy, hope, fax, pilot, paper.

Jealsously the pilot hopes,
his face a paper mask
as he flies from one end
to the other
He thinks of his wife
and her beauty
but in his mind
he can't stay with her
he has to fly
