Zarin
A new day had just begun and Zarin had a lot on his mind. He had met another family within the pride, what was even more surprising to him was the fact that the female was very good friends with Siya. It made him long for the same feelings. With a soft sigh, his ears perked forward before his turquoise eyes gazed back to where he had come from. Siya wouldn't be too far from him, they were stuck together like glue, the two of them. It made his cheeks blush red at the thought of the silvery lioness.
Siya
The distances has lessened between them as age had come to her. She understood things better now, she could see that not everyone came from the sea pride. that enw people came and went like the tides. That she was not a cub and that she must take responsability for her actions. This didn't stop her from playing though. She lay in the sand on her back, her four paws in the air as she waited for zarin to return. She couldn't help but think that the clouds looked alot like zarin today, but maybe that was just because he was on ehr mind. He was on ehr mind alot lately.
Zarin
With the waves rolling in on the shore behind him, Zarin walked quietly back to where he had started. It didn't take long for his turquoise eyes to land on a very familiar silvery figure, waiting for him. A small smile slowly grew on his features as he made his way closer to her. She looked lovely, he blushed at the thought. "Morning Siya!"
Siya
Siya flopped sideways at the call of her name. A smile grew on ehr maw which stretched accross ehr face and she gave a delighted puurr at the sight of her closest friend. His fluffy mane was tustled by the wind. Her soft, watery blue eyes danced as she looked over the male whom she spent most, if not all of her time with. "Zarin, you look..." She paused for a moment as she searched for the word which was right ont he tip of her tongue. "Handsome, today." She smiled and rolled to her belly and flouncing to her paws to greet the big male her cheek brushing lightly against his in this most affectionate of greetings.
Zarin
With the brush against his cheek, Zarin rubbed his gently against her own. Her words filled his head as he felt his heart swell. Handsome! She thought he was handsome! Perhaps...perhaps his feelings would be returned? But regardless, he had watched her grow up right before his very eyes from a adol to a very lovely lioness with a playful nature. "Siya, looking lovelier with each day!" He smiled warmly, "Were you waiting for me? I hope you weren't waiting too long for me if you were."
Siya
She smiled her perfect, watery blue eyes dancing like small perfect blue saphires, her ears flickered gently and she licked his nose. "Was watching the clouds. They look alot like you." her lips quirked in an unusual smile, one which she was unfamiliar with giving. Something was changing between them, she knew it and she searched for the words in her slightly muddled brain."Is..Are you happy here with, with me zarin?" She tilted ehr head gently it was one of the questions she wanted to ask, but not the one which tugged at her heart, the words were evasive though they were close on her tongue, if only she could fid them amidst the other more confusing questions in her mind.
Zarin
Watching the clouds that looked like him? Zarin felt flattered, that Siya thought that the clouds resembled him. Though, her question brought him back to reality. Was he happy here with her? Of course he was! He didn't need to think about that answer at all, he's never been happier in his life than he has here, with Siya. He nodded, "I am very happy here with you Siya." He purred softly and nudged his nose against her cheek softly, "I've never been happier in my life than I have here, it makes me feel like I belong here. No other place I've been to made me feel like that." He spoke truthfully. Though, he was curious as to what brought this up? What was she thinking? He let his turquoise eyes gaze into her blue eyes. "Are you happy with me here?"
Siya
A little giggle rolled off her lips as he replied and her frnt paws danced a little jig in the sand. "I want you to stay here forever 'n ever 'n ever with me zarin, will you?" Her soft blue gaze danced and she stopped her tapping her gaze perfectly serious, a strange and unusual sight and thing for Siya to hold. "Please? I don't want to be without you." She stood still and quiet, the seas breeze wisteling in her ears as she waited, for what seemed like a life time for hs reply. Would he even want to stay with her? She wanted himt o stay, to be with her forever, there was something that Zarin carried with him that made her heart leap happily.
Zarin
The giggle made Siya sound more like herself to Zarin. Her words brought hope within him. This might turn out well for him afterall! He nodded his head to her as his tail flicked slightly behind him. "Of course, I wouldn't go anywhere even if I wanted to. This is my home now. Nowhere else is my home." He reassured her, he had no intentions of leaving especially if she didn't want him to. The last thing he would want to do is make her sad. He gingerly took a step towards her. He lowered his head so that his forehead pressed against her own as he looked into her eyes, "Siya, I couldn't leave you if I wanted to. You're too special to me, and it would pain me to see you sad, especial if I was the cause of it!" And then, he pulled his head back to lick her cheek affectionately.
Siya
The little silver lioness purred happily her blue eyed gaze smiling once again, the serious moment over and that high energy once agin flooding back in to her body as she groomed his face happily. "I want..I want.." She took a deep breath. "I want to be with Zarin, forever.." She paused and licked her lips as she pulled that ever evasive word to the tip of her tongue "I love Zarin, i never want you to leave." She whispers her voice careing, gentle kind. She wanted him to be with her forever and she knew nothing could possibly make her happier.
Zarin
Well, shocked couldn't even begin to describe what Zarin was feeling. Siya...Siya loved him and wanted to be with him forever! His eyes widen a bit before he found his voice, "You do?! Oh my, you've made me the happiest lion out there, Siya because I love you too. Every since I got to know you, you've brighten my day." He spoke earnestly before chuckling softly at her enthusiasm. It was contagious, he felt his heart begin to swell, not wanting this moment to end any time soon. "I will always be with you Siya!" He promised as her before he felt a thought run through his mind. Oh, he would have to talk to her father about this, he would want to have her father's blessing as well. He smiled, "I've been trying to find the perfect time to tell you how I felt, but I could never figure out the words."
Siya
The pale lioness giggled happilly Zarin could be so wordy sometimes that she would let some of it just glide through one ear and out the other, but she understood what he was saying, she understood the word love, that it was the feeling that made her heart jump in to her throat and her fur stand on end. She puurred and walked around him happily before she stood beside him and licked one of his ears befre gently tugging on his mane. "Foreevr never" She cooed picking up her paws and bouncing off down the beach in high spirits. Now that that was sorted out, it was definately time to scoot out of the sun and have a nap in their shadey den. their den forever. She smiled widely. Something had just changed between her and Zarin and it felt good. So very good.
Zarin
Zarin smiled ruefully at the tug to his mane, not at all minding the attention he was getting from Siya. When she stood up and starting bouncing along the beach, he couldn't help but feel a spring in his step as well. Today was the best day of his life, thus far! He followed her along the shoreline and towards their den, their den. It had a nice ring to it. His tail flicked behind him happily as he purred softly, making his to the den for their nap. He nuzzled his cheek against Siya, "Forever, Siya!" He said before curling up on the ground, to take a nap with Siya.
