Nyght was covered in dirt by the time the Skitty had settled down. She was crouching behind one of the larger bushes in the wooded area, journal in hand, trying to write down every movement the Skitty made. This wasn't the easiest of tasks since Nyght was also trying not to make any sounds so as not to alter the (wrongly assumed) wild pokemon's behavior. Her knees were already getting terribly sore from her abuse of them, so very carefully and quietly, Nyght lowered herself further to the ground and laid on her stomach, her elbows supporting her upper body so that she could style write. This unfortunately exposed her legs to the path behind her, and proved rather hazardous for anything walking down that path, but Nyght was a bit too engrossed in her observations to notice or probably care if she did notice. She was pulled out of her attention to comfortable situating herself when she heard another rustle in the woods, perhaps another pokemon! Nyght kept glancing back to the Skitty to see if it responded to the noise as well, but she also was scanning the surrounding brush to see if she could spot what else was making the noise.

So the worst possible scenrio now, of course, would be someone loud and noisy to come stomping through shouting, yes? Unfortunately for Nyght, that was exactly what Mae did, pushing her way noiseily through the undergrowth, standing on twigs and dead leaves, creating loud rustling sounds that the Skitty would most certainly here. But that wasn't the worst part.

"AAAAAANAKIN!?"

She cupped her hands to her mouth to amplify her voice, calling for her Skitty - the same one Nyght hapened to be watching. Anakin himself had been merrily munching on some berries e'd found, though practically leapt into the air when he heard Mae's shouts, racing off in the first direction he came across. Which happened to be the one Nyght was sitting in. Anakin ran straight into the female, clawing at her with a hiss as he attempted to make off in another direction.

"SKIIIIT~!"

But not before Mae spotted him, beginning towards Nyght and her Skitty with a scowl. "Hey, what're you doing with my Skitty!?"

Anakin was quick to spot the fact that he could use this to his advantage, mewing in a scared fashion as he darted behind his co-ordinator's legs, huddling there and shivering. She wouldn't get angry at him, after all, if she was angry at this girl.

"What the-" Nyght whispered to herself as she heard the yelling, though it wouldn't matter if she was whispering now, since the Skitty had obviously been disturbed by this unhelpful girl.... Nyght started to raise herself up to look around when something soft, furry and with claws was suddenly in her lap. Starting back, obviously surprised, Nyght fell backwards out of the brush with the Skitty she had been watching on her stomach. The claws left sore spots on her torso, but nothing Nyght couldn't deal with. The worst part was when the Skitty ran off again, at the other girl and apparently hid behind her. "Your Skitty!?" Nyght couldn't help but be surprised, since it had been obviously alone in the woods and she had been following it for a while now.

The poor thing seemed quite frightened, which Nyght could understand with the stress he had just been through, but that didn't relieve her anger with the girl, "I wasn't doing anything but watching it. I thought he was wild since he was all alone in the woods. I guess he got scared when you were yelling and ran towards you, but I had been laying down in the bush and he didn't see me...." It seemed like a straightforward answer that should explain everything, but then again, Nyght never was good at diffusing stressful situations, something about not really interacting with all that many stressed out humans, just pokemon. As an after thought she asked, "Is he all right?"

"And though the ways, we will keep shinnnniiiinnniinnngggg through! 'Cause there is no one betta' than me~!" Meeka sang as she walked down the path. Ebba trotted beside her, clopping while his red and white scarf dangled in unison with hers. "Wahhh! Today is such a nice day! It was such a good idea to take a walk huh Ebba?"

Ebba really didn't reply with an answer. The deer Pokemon rather sniffed under her arm towards the messenger bag she had slung around her shoulder. He was more interested in the Pecha Jam she had made the other day, and wanted another sweet taste of the pink concoction. Sniffing up towards her and licking her face, maybe such kisses would do the trick.

Meeka giggled as she rubbed the nose of her partner. "You sure are affectionate today!" she said as she gave him light kiss on the forehead. "You want somethin' don'tcha?" she said as she pulled the Pecha Jam out of her side bag. Ebba quickly jumped on her for it but Meeka teased him with it by holding it away. "You won't get any if you act so greedy!" she giggled.

Mae scowled softly, flashing a glare towards Nyght as she crouched down, softly speaking to her Skitty in quiet words that Nyght wouldn't have been able to hear. Anakin slowly stopped shivering, obliging when Mae held out her arms and jumping into them, snuggling down as she straightened up again with the Normal-type in her arms.

"Yes, my Skitty!" she snapped somewhat rudely, knowing full well in her mind that when he was alone, there was no way to distinguish him between a wild Pokemon and one owned by a trainer. And Nyght's explanation didn't calm Mae down in the slightest, just seeming to make her angrier. There was that problem she had, of course, of selective hearing - only hearing what she wanted to hear.

"He was probably scared because you were spying on him when he was lost! What are you, a stalker or something!?"

Anakin, just to help the situation, whined softly, burying his small nose further into Mae's arm, paler pink tips of his ears poking out, almost looking comical. At the question raised by Nyght, Mae flashed her another glare.

"He's fine - no thanks to you."

Nyght raised her eyebrows as the girl snapped at her. She hadn't meant anything by the question, she had simply wanted to verify that the girl was serious. It was strange for a trainer to let their pokemon wander so far away from them. Just as Nyght was about to shake it off and walk away, the girl went a bit too far. Nyght's parents had been researchers and had often watched wild pokemon. This was were Nyght had learned everything she knew about researching, and she wasn't going to let some careless trainer insult what she loved.

"No I'm not a stalker!" Nyght's usually calm gray eyes darkened with shadows as she narrowed them in disgust, "I'm a researcher! You were the one who let your pokemon go running around by itself, you're lucky he wasn't caught by someone! I was simply observing a wild pokemon, what researchers do if you weren't aware!" As she spoke the last portion, it was obvious in her tone that Nyght didn't think much of the girl's intelligence. Unfortunately, or fortunately, as the coin is flipped, before Nyght could continue on her "educational" tirade, another voice was heard through the trees, and Nyght's face couldn't help but light up when a Stantler and his owner appeared.

Meeka loomed over as she was able to get up and push her Stantler off of her. She stumbled a few times due to the weight of the deer Pokemon but was able to push him off. Sighing, she heard rustling coming from the bushes. Excited, she smiled. "Hey Ebba, maybe this is a super-duper-ultra rare Pokemon that is showing itself to me because it wants to be my friend!" Meeka's eyes lit up with glee. "Maybe I can breed it! And before one of the best Breeder's in the world!" Smiling, she crept toward the bushes. But as she felt for Ebba, he wasn't under his grasp.

The scaredy Meowth Ebba watched from behind, shaking his head when Meeka scowled at him and beckoned him over. She spouted some words at him until finally grabbing him by the scarf and forcing him over. He whined, as he called out "Stttttaaaaannnnnn!"

Cupping her hand around Ebba's mouth like a muzzle, she shushed him. "Be quiet..." she whispered and moved along to the bushes. "We have to see this super-duper ultra rare Pokemon!" As she looked up, she bounced out of the bushes and screamed, "GOTCHA!" But when Meeka came to realize it, it was only two other trainers in the bushes, not a rare Pokemon. "Drat!" she said snapped her fingers while lying on the floor. She really didn't take into account how much of an idiot she looked like in front of the other trainers.

Despite the how rowdy the situation is, Tiffy managed to conceal herself within the tall, lenghty stalks of grass, taking in shallow breathe in an attempt to remain well hidden; so faint that even she could hardly hear it.
Her fingers; rubbing against her camera in a slow circular motion, a habit of hers to ease away the nervousness. Slow yet steadily, Tiffy aimed the lens of her prized DSLR camera at the Stantler that’s merely a few feet away. Her eyes locked on the Stantler through the optical viewfinder.

“What a fine expression” she thought to herself.

Unfortunately, all hell breaks loose when Toto came out of his pokeball. The Totodile danced on its light feet before leaping off the ground as it dives straight towards the camera with its jaws wide open. Tiffy’s natural reflex system & protective instinct of her beloved camera led her to place her arm infront of her camera.
To Toto’s disappointment, it chomped down on Tiffy’s arm instead of her camera. Reluctantly, Toto let go of its grip on Tiffy’s arm.

“There’s no way, I’m going to let you break my camera’s lens again” She lectured at her Totodile.

“s**t” she cursed inwardly.

Not only did her plan, to steal shots and walk away stealthily after that, was crushed by the unexpected appearance of her Totodile, she also revealed her hiding spot.

Now, she’s left with two options:
A. Walk away and pretend nothing happened
B. Wait to be bombarded by questions.

Woa, she hadn't expected the girl to get all riled up when she called her a stalker. Mae was somewhat tempermental, and at times like this words tumbled out of her mouth that she didn't mean to. Rash was what some called it. Stupid was the word others used. And let him go off by himself? He'd wandered!

"Pokemon are still Pokemon, whether they're owned by someone or not! They explore and they wander - he probably was looking for some berries!"

If Nyght was trying to imply that she didn't look after Anakin properly, then boy was she going to get a whack. Anakin snuggled even further into Mae, if it was possible, ears shielded - they were being rather loud. And with those larg,e sensitive ears, it hurt. Mae, noticing this, gently placed a hand on her Skitty's head, as if to reassure him. On the plus side, for Anakin, he wasn't getting told off. But his head was ringing rather a bit. At the strange person with the Stantler, Mae just flashed a glare, which was soon directed at Tiffy as she also revealed her hiding place. But, luckily for Tiffy, she had a cute Totodile. Anakin squeaked as Mae gasped, rushing over towards Tiffy, crouching down on the ground. Anakin hopped out of her arms quickly, giving an indignant mew as he sat down, beginning to groom himself.

"He's so cute!"

Mae couldn't help it, she just loved Water and Ice Type Pokemon. Admittedly, she did prefer the normal, blue Totodile to this strange white one, but that didn't stop it from being adorable. She had a name all set and everything for when she finally caught one. She carefully reached a hand out so the Totodile could vet her before she pet him - after all, those jaws could do some damage. She totally forgot about the argument that had been going on.

Nyght was a bit amazed as first one and then another trainer appeared in the midst of their arguement. Not that she minded, of course, since they both had pokemon traveling with them, much to her delight. It was a bit amusing when the girl with the stantler jumped out of the bushes as if trying to surprise them, though she didn't seem to notice that she looked quite ridiculous in this way. She was also surprised when a girl with a camera and a Totodile appeared, seeming to have had the same intentions that Nyght had had about watching pokemon.

There was one good thing about the second girl's appearance, however, and that was that the apparently albino totodile distracted the first girl from the argument they had been having. Nyght was still a little tiffed about the whole thing, since she had done nothing wrong at all, and that absent trainer obviously had by letting her pokemon run wild. But it was no matter, there were people to meet and pokemon to watch, so Nyght ignored the trainer with the skitty and looked to the trainer of the stantler, smiling at her, "Uhh... I guess you did get us.... Is this your stantler? He's gorgeous!" Nyght approached slowly, not wanting to startle the beast, but of course being less than keen to the idea that not everyone was all right with their pokemon being touched by other trainers. Well, Nyght would learn sooner or later, but probably later....

Meeka noticed she was in the pretense of three trainers, not two. She flushed red, waving herself off. She really was a clumsy one at that. Sighing, she turned toward the other who had made the attempt to pat her Stantler. She nodded toward her question. "Yep, this Stantler is my buddy. Right Ebba?" she asked.

But Ebba wasn't paying attention to his trainer. More of fact, he was paying attention to the others that were in the sight in front of him. He shook his head as Nyght attempted to pat him on his head. He ceased and stood still. He wondered if all of them would give him the attention he seeked.
