Home Life : Born into a quiet town in Ireland with her parents, Jeanette and Quinn. Her father is a pureblood wizard and her mother is muggleborn. She exhibited signs of magic at an early age, and was excited but not too surprised to receive her Hogwarts letter when she was 11. Since her birthday is in October she was nearly 12 by the time she went to Hogwarts. She was never one to care about blood purity; having been one of the only witches in her immediate area, she was friends with several muggle children growing up. Her father, Quinn, works at the Ministry as an assistant to an Unspeakable. Her mother, Jeanette, works at Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions.
Diving deeper : Addison is quite the opposite of a typical Ravenclaw. She's very clever and gets good grades, but she doesn't spend much time studying at all (unless she's bored) and loves, instead, to watch Quidditch practice and games. Despite not studying, she can always be seen carrying a novel around to read between class (and sometimes during), or in the Great Hall. Her favorite subject is Charms and her least favorite subject is Herbology. She rarely starts papers or homework on time and can usually be seen reading a book instead of doing schoolwork, and on the nights before something is due, she can usually be found in the library, frantically trying to finish a question sheet, memorize incantations, or scribbling away at the remaining six inches of a three-foot essay.

Taking a closer look : Addison sighed and rolled over on her bed, staring at the canopy over it. Barely even two hours at Hogwarts and nothing to do. She had exhausted the stack of books she had brought with her on the train. Sitting up and looking around, she found herself quite alone. She shrugged and rose from the bed, making her way to the foot of her bed and her trunk. She opened it, digging through it and scattering her belongings all over the floor around it until she found what she was looking for--her Charms textbook.
Whose brilliant idea was it to put my books at the bottom? she thought. Considering it for a moment she remembered that she herself had in fact put them there, last night when she was rushing to get ready to leave for the train. Sighing, she waved her wand and muttered a spell, and her belongings flew lazily back into the trunk, which she snapped closed. She returned to her former position on the bed, opening the textbook and practicing a few of the spells found in the first chapter.
