The irritating, repeating music over the intercom.
The lovely annoucements about sales that usually mean a buck or two less than the original price.
The annoying sales people who follow ya around when you actually don't need help, yet wander off when ya do?
The brightness of the stores' colorings and bad option of choices?
Jen sighed and looked at the bundle of jeans clutched in her arms. Gotta love shopping for clothes.....
Normally, she wouldn't be caught DEAD here but....I guess you kinda do need to spend a bit of money when a wild pokemon tears apart your favroite shirt and jeans, no?
Stepping into an empty dressing room, the female trainer shifted into a new pair of jeans and examined her copy in the mirror before turning towards the small pokemon sitting next to her backpack on the small seat.
"I dunno.....What do ya think, Abi?" Jen grinned and smacked her bottom in a joking manner. "Do these jeans make my butt look big?"
Abiba simply giggled and shook her head "No". Her human was so silly, always finding a reason to smile, even if it ment being completely crazy. Bouncing over to the pile Jen had brought with her, Abiba dug through the cloth and pulled out two belts: one black with white stripes and the other a plain dark-blue.
"Pikachu pi!" She held them out to the human, who took the two leather straps and tied them so they hung loose and criss-crossed around her waist.
"Hm.......I like!" Striking a poise infront of the small dressing room mirror, Jen laughed and danced a bit, singing along to the lyrics playing over the intercom before continuing with her task.

A sale! Vexi's eyes widened. Oooh, she simply must check this out.
Weaving between the racks of beautiful clothes, she maneuvered the sales bins with expertise, rummaging through them for the perfect outfit.
Moments later, shaking her rumpled hair out of her eyes, she held up her prize, a lovely lime-green halter top and a pair of dark washed jeans. "Now, to the dressing room!" she said triumphantly, before marching off to the fitting rooms.
Once inside, she quickly discarded her old clothing, and slipped the shirt over her head. Pulling up the pants, she muttered, "I've got to lay off all the junk food," as she struggled with the button. Finally, she tied a blue scarf around her waist, gypsy style, and admired her reflection in the mirror. "Not too shabby!" she said to her double. "I just hope Aya likes it. The last time she thought my outfit looked ridiculous, she singed it."

Making a quick decision on a sleeveless top with a random insignia on the front, the belts, cargo pants, and a spiffy pair of combat boots, Jen made way towards the checkout counter with cash in hand and pokemon on shoulder.
"Lessee.....I got my replacement clothes..." The trainer checked the list made earlier as she walked out of the store. "Now we need some food stuffs and, um.......Okay, it's bad when you can't even read your own writing...."
Abiba poked her head over Jens' shoulder and glanced at the bottom of the list. Ears twitching, the Pikachu glanced around before pulling on the humans' headband strap, pointing towards the PokeMart down the street a bit.
"PIKACHU PIKA!"
"HUH? OW! Abi! What is-Oh! Ehehe...." Now that was ackward...Oh well, at least there wasn't that many people out on the street. Spinning around, the twosome made way towards the Trainers' ultimate pitstop; as Jen walked, however, a pokeball attached to her belt came loose and hit the sidewalk with a bounce or two before rolling to a stop. It wiggled a few seconds before bursting open with a flash of white light.
Ace grumbled and, while trying to shield them from the glaring sun, blinked amber eyes at the non-trainers who were gaping like idiots. Ya think they had never seen a Golbat in the daytime before.....morons! Hissing at the idiots and flaring his wings to their fullest length (This action caused a few of the humans to scream and back off, crying something about a mad pokemon?) he hung upside down from a streetlamp, while smirking and eyeing the humans.
Morons...just like he thought. Yawning and folding up his wings, he glanced from left to right, keeping an eye out for the only human he tolerated. Where had that girl run off to this time?

Vexi walked out of the dressing room, the scarf wrapped around her unruly hair, and went over to the counter to pay for her new clothes. A smile on her face, she walked out of the store in her new duds, swinging a bag on her arm containing her old clothes.
Walking out of the store with her purchases, Vexi was suddenly face to face with a Golbat! Instinct led her to back away a few steps, after all, Golbats usually preferred their own space, and Vexi wasn't very fond of Golbats anyway. For a moment, she thought the pokemon to be wild, but she remembered seeing a flash of light as she was walking out of the store, and that must mean that this Golbat had a trainer.
Good. Vexi really didn't like Golbats at all. Maybe its trainer would hurry up and put it back in it's pokeball.
Stepping back a few steps, Vexi didn't see the curb behind her, and she tripped, causing her scarf to go flying off her head, and her one pokeball to fly off her belt, rolling down the road until it bumped into a pedestrian's leg.
FLASH!!
Aya blinked. Where was she? This wasn't an arena. This looked like...a city? Wait a minute. Did Vexi go on another shopping spree? Aya sighed. That girl. When was she ever going to learn not to spend all her money on clothes? If she had bought another dumb-looking outfit, Aya would personally get rid of it for her. Aya looked around for her trainer. There she was...sitting down? Did she fall? Oh no! Aya rushed over to her trainer, and tried to help her up as best she could. The people around hastily made room for her, as Aya's flaming mane and tail were a force to contend with, and no one wanted to get burned.

Ace grumbled a bit more when ANOTHER unknown ( and confirmed irritating) human came face-to-face with him. Smirking as the girl fell down, the Golbat flared his wings again and hissed; this sent the group of humans running in all directions. Some even went flying towards the Pokemon Center and the Police Station.
Jen had yet to notice the screams and people running: being a loopy being and wanting to block out the noise, she had pulled out her music player and two sets of headphones. Handing one set to Abiba, she placed the other in her ears and started moonwalking into the PokeMart.
Abiba, on the otherhand, had noticed the missing pokeball. Placing the headphones on her trainers' shoulder, the little Pikachu bounced down and darted towards the commotion....she sighed: Ace was always the one who had to cause problems, didn't he?!
Interest gained now, Ace watched as a Rapidash helped the strange girl to her feet.....wait a minute! Squinting slightly (curse his bad day vision!) Ace started at the familiar flame markings and the teardrop under the Rapidashes' horn. He knew this pokemon!
"Aya?!" He chittered in excitement, detaching himself from the lamppost and flapping to hover infront of the fire-type. His eyes sparkled happily at the sight of old friend. "AYA! It's YOU! It's been forever!"

Aya turned at the familiar chittering. It couldn't be..."Ace? Is it really you?" Aya whinnied happily. "I've missed you! How have you been?"
"Aya, you know this Golbat?" Vexi asked, leaning over Aya's back to look at him. "Hmm...weeell....if Aya likes you, I suppose I can trust you not to be nice...However, you'll understand if I stay on this side of Aya."
