This is just a thread idea I thought up of to hear peoples thoughts on how the regen might have happened.

I believe they could make a special episode similar to Time Crash featuring either 8, 9, and 10, or just 8 and 9. Because of the whole, Belgium death scenario that was featured in Time Crash, something similar should happen if 3 different Doctors meet. So as they are all trying to 'save the universe,' the 8th realizes how to stop the inevitable doom. However, with his doing so, he comes face to face with a fatal situation, and is forced to regenerate.
So then the entire chapter ends with the 10th figuring out how to get everyone back to their appropriate time-lines, while two 9th incarnation Doctors freak out at the truly odd paradox, and the original 9th as well as 10th finally remember the whole ordeal, and the 10th remembers how he saw himself send everyone back. 10th goes to that years Christmas special, the original 9th finds himself in London, just outside a department store with some odd mannequin's, and the recently regenerated 9th Doctor finds himself with a family eagerly anticipating their trip on The Titanic two days from then.
