Summer was in full swing and the lizard girl loved it. She loved the summer, all the plants and flowers, the smells, the sun and of course swimming. Damaris was floating along in a secluded part of the river.
She didn't see anyone else around so she thought she had the place to herself, "Come on Red, the water's great, come on in!" She said to her dragon who was sitting on the shore as she came up for breath.
The dragon just gave a 'humph' and shifted a bit. Why would anyone enjoy going in water? Other than its color it was all just too much of a pain. You couldn't dig in it, you got all wet, and you never knew what gross things could be floating around.
Damaris rolled her eyes before going back to enjoying the water.

Chath had tried to get over his depressed state but found himself spiraling downwards in his depression much to his black annoyance. In fact it was strange for Keir to actually show concern...even if it was a bit harsh.
Basically forcing the boy to go for a swim the black slid into the river eagerly, it had been a long time since he had gotten to go for a real swim.
Chath followed in a bit more reluctantly, in his bathing shorts he slipped into the water and enjoyed the feel of it on his skin. He liked that he could just slip under the water and not have to come back up for air. He could endlessly drift underwater.....
Keir had other plans, he would get his boy out of his slump even if he had to force him to fight for his life. The black dragon fully submerged looked similar to a crocodile.

Damaris didn't notice the other boy and his dragon that slipped into the water a little ways down the river. She continued to try and convince her dragon to come into the water but to no avail.
The girl proceded to do a back float and let the waves gently rock her. She stared up at the clouds, she loved cloud watching and when she was in the water it seemed even calmer.
In her state of serenity she tried to forget the events that were plaguing her, she wanted to pretend like nothing was wrong, so even for a brief time, that's what she did.

Chath was drifting along the bottom of the river, idly taking his time as he hadn't really gotten to be underwater for a long time. It was a bit awkward with his missing arm, though it was growing back it was basically still a stump and not very useful.
So with his tail he propelled himself forward slowly. Unaware that the blck dragon has other plans.
Keir watched his child a moment before swimming lazily through the water to suddenly propel himself forward at an astonishing speed towards the boy. it was only a split second but he snapped at him alerting the boy that this was now a battle.
Chath's eyes widened as suddenly teeth came all to narrowly close to his other arm. Kicking off the bottom of the river he tried to back peddle out of the dragons reach. He wished he could yell at the dragon! This was not the time he was not in the mood!
On the surface there was ripples showing something large was moving under the water.

Damaris noticed the unusual waves and looked around to see if there was a boat or something but she didn't see anything. She began to tread water instead of back float while she looked around rather confused. Where were all the strange waves coming from?
Red noticed that his girl looked a little surprised and lifted his head up. He didn't make any movements to go in the water or even get up for that matter. He just wanted to make sure there was nothing that would disturb him.

Chath annoyed tried to swim out of the black dragon's reach, but having a long neck was a advantage to the dragon and not for him. Fighting underwater was much different than on land...maybe this was why the black had insisted that they go into the water. Gritting his teeth he wished that there was something he could do to fight back.
His magic was useless here, and he couldn't exactly use it at the moment. And he only used hand to hand comabt....... so all he could do was avoid. Pulling his limbs into his body he used his tail to propel him to the surface.
The black didn't give up or let up. Spiraling in the water the dragon's mouth was open wide as he snapped at the boys webbed toes. Chath feeling the brush slowed a bit and booted the dragon in the nose. But slowly had been a bad idea as suddenly the dragon rushed up towards him he felt his body collide with Keir's face as they continued their rush towards the surface.
They erupted through the surface as Chath was thrown high. Keir reared his head back and spat a large amount of acid at the boy, who on instinct blocked a majority of it with his shoulder. He then landed with a huge splash.
Sputtering cursing could be heard.
"KEIR! GOD DAMMIT STOP!" the boy not usualy one for rude words found that this was an appropriate time to use them.

Damaris shrieked when she saw something come erupt from the water. She saw a lot of colors, and she saw some goo, and teeth. She didn't know what they were until she was able to swim a bit further away and focus on them. One of them was a dragon and the other looked like a boy, maybe they were from D-Corp, but why were they fighting?
Red finally got himself up as he saw the others come out of the water. If they posed a threat to his girl, he'd at least be able to shock them from where he was. He stood his ground as a growl started to emanate from his throat.

The black paused his long sineu neck turning as he smelt something other than the pond and its pond life around them.
"hmmm not alone." came a lower growl from the black as he went to submerge himself back into the water, only the top of his skull could be seen as he looked around.
Chath was god damn lucky he hit the water so quickly after being acid spat at. The water diluted and nulled the effects of the acid otherwise he would of lost quite a bit of skin if not muscle from the direct hit. The dragon was ruthless he knew it...and he didn't trust the black around others.
Making sure all the acid was nulled her came back to the surface and shook the water out of his eyes.
"Keir?? KEIR!?" He shouted until he noticed the black was slowly making his way towards a girl. After careful observation he noticed there was a dragon on the shore. Maybe Keir was going for the dragon...that would be worse.
Swimming he stroked towards the girl managing to beat his dragon to them as he knew Keir was taking his slow leasuirely time. "Ah...sorry about that. Keir has some strange idea's about battle tactics.." He explained as he neared. He hoped to hell that the black wasn't thinking on taking on the blue.

Damaris had gotten a little spooked by the sudden appearance and attack of the dragon on the boy. She was put in a bit of a sour mood when she was taken by surprise, "W-What do you think you're doing?!" She snapped at the boy, "Can't you control your dragon?! What if some one else was closer by?! And they got caught up between you and that dragon?! What then?" She didn't seem to be very happy at the sudden appearance.
After she got her little rant out of the way she realized the boy was...well, a boy. Her eyes grew a little wide and she lowered herself into the water a bit more and tried to discretely cover herself as best as she could with her arms. She knew she shouldn't have worn a two piece today.
Red kept a close eye on the black dragon. He knew how chromatics could get. He himself was much more prominent and above the antics of the, lesser, species. Or so he told himself. But he would not stand for it if the dragon tried to harm his girl or dared to challenge him.

Chath felt abashed as the girl lectured him about how dangerous Keir was. Yes he knew his black was dangerous, yes he knew he didn't have a control over his dragon. BUt he wasn't going to muzzle him, he wasn't going to act like he was the dragon's master. How could he get the black to trust him that way? His normal happy -go-lucky demenor seemed to have vanished as anger replaced it. What right did this...this girl have to yell at him like that? He didn't know she was here, and she didn't know what hell he had been through as of late. Little did he know she had been going through similar hell like situations as well.
Taking a deep breath the boy calmed himself, there was not point yelling at her. No point to vent all his frusterations out on someone he just met. As tempting as it were. Instead he stopped a couple feet from her and only looked at the waters surface.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to surprise you like that. I honestly didn't think anyone else was here. And..." His gaze went back to where his black was now patrolling the waters edge. He was still deep enough that he was fully submerged but it was obvious the black was taunting the blue to just try and come into the water.
"And...Keir is Keir.....he does what he does to try and make me stronger. He has very little else on his mind." He stated waving his stubbed arm as if to show his point. Though it wasn't Keir who had done the damage it had been another black. He still had nightmares about it and in truth he was a bit fearful of Keir growing up to look like that.

Damaris' eyes widened when she saw that the boy was missing an arm. Her hormones lately made it easy for her disposition to change quickly. Right now sympathy started to take over.
"Oh geez, are you alright?!" She asked, it was obvious that, well, not everything could be alright since he was missing an arm, however it was still instinct to ask.
She was still keeping most of herself under water. She would be completely embarrassed if a boy were to see her in a two piece, especially one she just met. She was still trying to cover herself as well, since the water wasn't really murky.
Red snorted at the black dragon as he approached the shore line. He turned his nose up at him as if to say, 'Please, like I'd really want to go in there?"

A bit thrown off by her change in attitude but he took it in stride and looked a bit embaressed at her question. In a sense he was fine...though a bit tramatized from the event leading up to him missing an arm.
"Yeah I...i'm okay.." he said rubbing the back of his head with his arm. Chath...even as a boy was fairly oblivious to the female body he didn't even try to sneak a peek at her in her two peice...though he did notice she was looking a bit awkward about it. So he half turned away from her so...she may feel more comfertable.
"Um..don't...misunderstand me, it was Keir who tried to stop the other dragon but...there was nothing he could really do...not against a full grown black .." He murmured trying not to dredge up the memories of that horrific event. But he didn't want the girl to think that it was Keir who had done it to him.
Keir raised his head out of the water giving a low chuckle as if to taunt the blue in. As if trying to tell the Blue he was a chicken.

"Oh..." Damaris said thinking about what the boy had said. She couldn't imagine a full grown dragon going after her, it must have been terrifying for the boy.
"By the way...my names Damaris." She said offering the boy a weak smile. Her emotions had been sending her on a roller coaster lately and she had gotten exhausted from it. She hoped a swim would help but so far it hasn't done more than stress her further.
Red scoffed at the black dragon. He would not stand to be insulted but he also would not go into that horrible water. Instead he stood up, turned around and began to kick dirt at the black dragon.

Chath watched out of the corner of his eye as the black and blue dragon were taunting each other. He really really hoped that neither of them would break into a fight. He then refocused on the girl beside him.
"I'm Chath." He replied as she offered her own name. Damaris was a pretty name and he had to wonder what type of DNA blend she was. He couldn't tell just by looking at her...and he was trying his best to not look at her directly so she may feel more comfortable.
"I am lucky to be a newt....otherwise I would be missing an arm forever." He commented trying to think of the bright side of being his own DNA. "You see originally i lost all of my arm, right up to the shoulder. SO I am pretty lucky that I can just regrow it." He said with a weak smile. Though there were many disadvantages to being a newt as well...
Keir seeing the dirt come his way ducked back down into the water, two could play at this game. Since the blue didn't want to come in..then the water would go to him instead. Moving off tot he side a bit the black then raised his head and turned his body using his powerful tail to send a wave of water at the blue.

"That's good!" Damaris said. She knew she was able to regrow her tail, but she didn't know that there were kids that could regrow whole limbs. Newts must be pretty special.
Red tried to move off to the side as the water came his way but he still managed to get wet which made him very irritable. He gave the black dragon a low growl as his eyes glared at him.
