yayyyyyy the first friends subforum contest!!!! ok it's a really simple contest. The person who makes the best love poem or friend poem gets gold^_^. you could choose either one of these choices or just make a poem about both of these topics ^_^ or just friend related it doesn't have to be a positive poem it could be dark as well, like betrayal, lost friends etc. you just have to stay on topic.
1st prize :3000g
2nd prize:1000g
3rd prize:500g
The deadline hmmmm i don't really know but ill make sure ill tell you guys before hand.

OK guys the contest is officially over. I explained below that i will try to decide and give you all prizes soon. I have to hurry up and get dressed XD. ok this is how it's going to work from now on. we are going to keep this as a poetry topic. you could post your poetry here and you could get constructive criticism and complements out of it.^_^

Rules
Please people try not to violate tos rules. and no flaming. i know this won't happen because you guys are extremely nice but i just have to write it anyways.
You could submit 2 entries if you want, and if you accidentally put the wrong poem or you just want to change the poem you made you may edit as many times as you want but once the deadline comes it has to stay that way.
AND PLEASE!!! make your own poem. don't try to google or go to poetry websites because i will find out.
That is all... Let the poetry contest. BEGIN!!! ^_^

Here's my entry:
It's Not That Simple
A burning fire,
Is lighting my soul.
A new desire,
In my heart resides.
My passion burning,
It’s a light in the darkness
My world unturning,
Being destroyed from the inside.
The all-consuming flame,
It started as a match,
Ignited when your name,
Scratched against my heart.
Smother it with tears,
But the fire won’t go out.
Shining light on all my fears,
Creating distrust and doubt.
Love is not as kind,
As the stories make it seem.
And we’ve all become blind
To what ‘fiction’ really means.
The ending won’t be sweet,
All will perish at some time.
We will someday taste defeat,
Many things love can’t overcome.
But even at that time,
I’ll be there to help you through.
And when my poem loses it’s rhyme,
I’ll still be writing just for you. Oh, and I won't be here for three weeks, staring next Sunday, so I won't be here for the announcement of the winner- so early congrads to whoever wins!
