I have two prayer requests, if that's okay...
1. A good friend of mine will be in Iraq with the Army for a year. He'll also be in Italy for 3 years after that. Please pray for him as well as for his family, and if it's not too much also for his friends (he has a lot of support from all of us). It's going to be rough to not hang out with him for 4 years. His name is Bryant.
2. A local foreign exchange student from Afghanistan ran away a few days ago from my town to seek asylum in Canada. He was due to return home to Afghanistan later this month. I'm not praying for reprimand, I am only praying for his safety and that he would find peace and happiness in his new home. He cannot return to either the United States or Afghanistan now (he would be arrested in the US and shunned in his homeland). I knew him personally and he is a very funny, charming guy. Please pray for his safety.
Thank you to anyone who prays for either of them. It means a lot to me. biggrin I did pray for them and don't worry about it God will keep them from danger if it is His will, I promise.
