 Bwana lounged along a tree branch, one paw hanging down his head resting on the branch. He wasn't asleep, just lounging and trying to survive the heat of the day. His tail twitched so it was hanging off the side of the branch. His gold eyes stared out over the Savannah watching a couple hares move through the grasses. He was feeling off, like he needed something he didn't have. He was still in love with his mate, but he....well he wasn't exactly sure. He just had this feeling that there was something he needed to do.
"Blah..." Everything seemed so bland, he needed something to shake his life up.

 Moja was only a few paces off from the savannah hares, her red pelt nearly invisible to her prey, and when one made the unfortunate mistake of turning its head, she launched forward, a red-rocket, silhouetted on the brown plain. She caught the poor beast on the back of its neck, crushing its spine with one bite to deliver a painless death. It was then she contentedly began to rip it apart, not minding the other hares that first stared upon the scene of horror and fled. Her red maw seemed unstained as she fished out her favorite parts, a deep noise sounding from her throat, a purring, almost, as her tail wagged happily.

 The lazy look on Bwana's face stayed there until he saw a lioness bolt out from the tall grasses. His eyes widened as he watched her take down a hare effortlessly. It all happened so fast he almost missed it. Lifting his head up he started to feel like moving. He didn't know why but the sudden appearance of the lioness interested him. Standing on the branch he balanced easily, walking out to the end of the branch before jumping down. He had been lounging near the middle of the tree so the drop to the ground wasn't all that far.
Being a lion he landed on all four paws easily. His mane waved and fluffed up as he shook himself, trying to wake himself up a bit more. He didn't want to go over to the female looking like an idiot. In the back of his mind the black and white lion knew that he wasn't acting like himself but it wasn't something he purposefully was doing. He just felt different today and he supposed he might as well take advantage of that.
After licking his maw and stretching a bit he headed in the female's direction at a casual pace. He didn't want to come upon her suddenly and get attacked because she was eating.

Moja's head jerked in the approaching lion's direction, rabbit corpse dangling from her jaws. It fell to the ground with a somber thud as her bright green eyes, less anxious now that her hunt had concluded, glued onto this male's golden ones. There were no words exchanged, but Moja could definitely smell something different on the air, and whether from that or the blood covering her muzzle, she calmly licked her lips. At the same moment, her tail flopped, making the same noise as the fallen hare. This was a strange-colored male, indeed, but Moja was filled with an adult curiosity towards the first male met in her full-adulthood.

Bwana stopped moving as her head jerked around. He narrowed his eyes, a small amused smile on his face as he watched the rabbit corpse dangle and then fall to the ground. He didn't know why but this female smelled different than the few he had met recently. The scent made him want to do things that he usually wouldn't consider doing with a female. He watched intrigued by her as she licked her muzzle clean.
After a moment he started padding forwards again, moving steadily towards her. His tail twitched behind him as he moved towards the red female. She was pretty, but that wasn't the main thought on his mind. The main thought was that he was feeling a pull towards the lioness, and the urge to do things that he would usually reserve for Gouta.
Once he was close to her, he circled the female sniffing her. As he circled, his tail brushed along her legs and sides. Coming full circle he stopped in front of her, staring into her green eyes, the amused smile still on his maw.

Her head tilted at this male oddly, curiously. She didn't flinch as he brushed past her, instead, she felt a smile creeping past her mouth as the tail was done playing. She nipped at it, though it was out of range, and again she licked her lips, unclear if it was a cleansing or to taste the air around them. One green eye locked onto two, Moja broke the silence with a quiet chuckle, then acting as though the male was no longer in front of her, she resumed her eating, tearing the rabbit, but not in the most hunger-satiating way, but more of a playful manner.

Hearing her teeth click on empty air he grinned, batting one of her legs with his tail. He held himself confidently, he was acting the complete opposite of the way that he usually would around a female and he didn't know why. He wasn't going to question it though, at least not at the current moment. Staring into her green eyes his grin grew a bit and he licked his muzzle.
Hearing her chuckle break the silence, he finally felt his own laugh coming from him. It was deeper and more rumbly than hers, but then again he was a lion and she was a lioness. He tilted his head slightly as she began to eat again. For a moment he just watched her eat, then he leaned down and took one of the rabbits legs in his jaws pulling it towards him, helping to tear the rabbit apart. He shook his head, sending bits of rabbit flying everywhere, his golden eyes flashing in a playful way.

Moja leaned slightly into his tail, then pinned it under her paw, feeling the sensation of delicate hair slip under her leathery paw. She then pouted, rabbit again suspended from her mouth. Opening it again to speak, rabbit once more thudding, no sound came out, instead a 'hmm' emitted from her throat. She tilted her head, enthralled now, and watching. Rather than going for her own chunk, Moja stood, and approached Dubwana, and gently clamped her mouth onto the leg suspended from his, her nose only an inch away from his, and smiling.
A noise rumbled from her throat, the same she made as a cub before she played with a brother or her prey.

Bwana grinned around the rabbit's leg when he noticed that she was watching him and seemed to be excited. Just for good measure he gave the hare another hard shake before just letting it hang from his jaws as he stood and watched what she would do. It was a very strange, but fun, interaction they were having. It was similar to the way he and Gouta flirted but yet very different since this lioness was definitely a female.
When the lioness approached him and bit down on the leg he was also holding his eyes became curious. He wasn't sure what she was doing but it was interesting. He smiled back at her and letting go of the hare he stepped forwards, rubbing his large head against hers. A deep purr coming from him as he nuzzled against her.

Moja nearly swallowed the entire leftover haunch in surprise. At first, she allowed herself to be pushed back, but parried with a duck under his head to get at the mane that covered his brawny chest. Her sound mimicked his, but in a higher, and more feminine tone, the two subtly synchronizing, until it sounded like one great beast. She put her smaller paws, tipped in black, on his that were completely covered, and since they were in reach, she nibbled his ears in a charming manner.

Bwana chuckled at her surprise, glad he shocked her. It was nice to know that he was able to do that. He was relaxed, a lazy smile on his maw. When he felt her tuck her head underneath his chin and cuddle up against his chest he grinned, his purr deepening. He rubbed his muzzle along the top of her head, listening to them synchronize their purring. When she stepped up on his paws and nibbled his ears he laughed softly, twitching them playfully. Stretching his neck towards her he licked her muzzle before nipping at her neck and ears gently.

With his ears still in her mouth, she drew back slightly and whispered in them, nosing the bristles inside the cupped shapes. "And who are you, stranger?" Her voice was calm and still rumbling with her purr. She then pulled back even further to lock her green eyes in his golden ones, ever smiling, and ever pleased with her new aquaintance. Moja's tail mimicked the wind-blown grass, waving in sync with the natural rythm of the savannah.

Feeling her nose at the little hairs inside his ears Bwana's body shook slightly with a deep chuckle, he couldn't help it it tickled. Hearing her words easily he took a moment to answer, waiting until their eyes met. "Dubwana'dubu,' He smiled at her before continuing, "Who might you be?" His tail flicked out, full of pent up energy. He didn't know where these feelings and urges were coming from but he was feeling the need to act upon them. Somehow he managed to keep himself in check as he smiled down at her.

Moja smirked as she rolled the name around in her head, feeling out the sounds of it on her tongue, smiling as the sandpapery thing rubbed against her sharp, white, canine teeth. "...Moja." Her introdction was as simple as her name itself, and she paced away, only to turn and lie at his feet, her paws covering his and flicking her toes around his larger ones. The lean red female gazed up at him, though it was difficult through his large mane.
And for just a fleeting moment, she was still as she watched Dubwana'dubu. "What is your purpose, if I may ask, Dubwana, here in this otherwise empty span of plain?"

Bwana watched the female, a smile on his face as he did. When she moved away he tilted his head a bit, his mane shifting with even that small movement, confused as to what she was doing now. As she laid at his feet and covered his paws with her own he chuckled, his gold eyes staring down at her.
Hearing her question he gazed at her quietly for a long moment thinking of his answer. "I was looking for something interesting," He had decided that honesty was the best option. "I would ask the same of you, but it's obvious" He motioned towards the bloody ground with a smile on his maw.
