The Empire State Building. Probably the most famous building in NYC, it once housed thousands of business, and was constantly abustle with life. Now, most of the windows were broken. It was tall, abandoned and spooky. Yet no one went in there. Not to clean it up, not to conduct business, not even to explore. Those who went in, never came out, or if by some miracle they were able to escape the horrors that linger here, they were never the same again. One floor was lit. The lonely lights making the building seem like it was alive or had eyes, it gave the city a very ominous aura. Iona looked out to the dark city below, smiling to herself at the despair her very presence brought to the mortals of the city. She traced her fingers over the cool glass, waiting for her pupil to come and learn. She had much to teach her.

Joselynn had lingered along the alleyways and streets for a while as she slowly made her way to where Iona was waiting for her. She felt different as if something was about to change and she didn't just mean what she knew. Her body had already begun to go through changes, the first noticeable thing had been her wings. Everything else had been just small very unnoticeable or mostly things she felt inside. She shook her head, pulling her gaze away from the stars that were just barely noticeable before spreading her wings out and flying up the Empire State Building. The air was cold and a little sharp as it went around her body but she just closed her eyes and smiled slightly. She landed without hardly a sound, her green eyes meeting Iona's back as she started to walk deeper. She didn't announce her presence, knowing Iona had known she was here before she had even been here.
