Smiling, Reverie stretched her wings in the small clearing by her favorite tree, and rolled onto her side. The sky was clear, her secret spot was closed from others, and, well? That was the best part...

There weren't any guys to make her feel even more worse. Everything was so fine when males weren't there to bother her.

Akeyon needed to find it, he just needed to. That fruit, that wonderful fruit he had when he was a child, it was so sweet sometimes and sour at others. He had been talking with himself last night when he remembered the small blue fruit, sometimes even purple, with a red soft inside.

He smiled as he walked, the spring had come to a close and it was summer, the rocks were hot, the shade was cool. Akeyon looked to the sky it was that bright blue that you almost always wished it was. Nothing could stop him from having such a nice day, yet again he though everyday was nice.

He looked forward again trying to concentrate where the fruit must be, he knew they would be around here somewhere. He tried to picture where they were, it seemed like a somewhat secluded space, in a clearing?

He noticed something then, something of different colors in a far off distance.
Is that them?’ Akeyon asked himself trotting toward the colors. He really didn't know that what he was about to try and pick were the wings of a female fafner.

Reverie was oblivious of the fact that the male had just invaded her little quiet time, until she felt his claws picking at her wings. With a little yelp, she jolted, and blinked, turning her head towards him. "Ohmigoodness! You scared me!"

Akeyon jumped a meter back when the Fafner yelped and another foot when it moved and turned around. He repeatedly mentally smacked himself in the head when he noticed the wings on her back were not berries, not at all. Wait, are they real wings? He asked himself in his head. Illusions had always been troublesome; he couldn’t tell if something was real or not. He had seen Fafners with wings on them, rushed up an asked them about the wings and they looked at him and gave him a confused look.

Miss, I’m, sorry about scaring you.’ Akeyon said almost about to repeat saying sorry, but learned many Fafners around the Isle didn’t like when others apologized to much, he didn’t know if this was the case with her, but he held his tongue. Akeyon then needed to know something.

Miss, are your wings real?’ He then asked, then he felt as if it sounded stupid, why a fafner would put fake wings on their back, and then realized something else, why would it hurt, they’re real. Great, this one was going to think he was a freak too.

Reverie sat up and chuckled. He was very curious, and answered him politely. "No, it's okay! He was so funny...Hasn't he seen wings before? Well, the winged population was slowly increasing, though, that's for sure. He seemed to wear a face that showed he spoke a lot to himself, and she smiled. He's kind of like me...

"And yes, they are real..."
Reverie stood up on her legs and folded her wings slowly, careful not to hurt herself. This male was kind of ... pretty. Not handsome, but beautiful. The bright colors were very intriguing, since in her 'world', almost everyone came in a dark-colored symphony. Plus, he had piercing, ocean blue eyes. Just like Papa's...Unlike her dull, rusty, steel-blue ones.

She actually responded? Wow she had! That was something that Akeyon hadn’t been getting lately, mostly because he was shunned, the other reason was he live on his own with no one else around. He closed his eyes and smiled a bit, a habit that had grown when people talked to him, he felt like he was being rewarded. His eyes then opened again, spanning forty percent larger then they had.

Wow they are so amazing!’ He didn’t feel like asking if she could fly, her wings were large enough to carry herself around, and he had heard that the numbers of these winged Fafners were growing and they could indeed fly, though many people feared them, Akeyon found them fascinating.

Well at least she didn’t ask why he had been picking at her multi-colored wings. He though to himself going in a different direction of talking to himself, that would be interesting if she had… He then looked at her, not her wings. She was silky black in color with white here and there. Her eyes were steal blue, white splotches carried under them. You think she’d have guys hanging all around her, as she was very pretty, beautiful even? Yes, Akeyon would in definitely say beautiful.

Something hit him then, was she real? No, she was he could tell, she would most likely not have spawned from his mind but someone with more creativity.

Reverie smiled, andd looked very graciously at him. She hadn't recieved such a comment before, just things about how bizarre she was, a checkerboard of paint, and tie-dye colored wings, thrown together in a mess, just like her parents as her aunt had said.

He kept looking at her, closing and opening his eyes at first. He's really...Wierd, but wierd, as in cuteand funny wierd... Reverie noticed he was giving her another blank and unemotional stare, probably speaking to himself.

"Really, you think so?" Happy. That's what she felt. This young male before her wasn't really like those ignorant, stubborn, and flashy others she had met before. She wasn't sure what he was thinking now, but maybe it was about her?

A smile crossed the females face after he had said that her wings were fascinating, he suddenly then realized he was staring at her, staring, staring. He stopped as soon as he said it three times to himself, finally connecting the words with the meaning. He looked down at his feet, a slight, invisible blush creeping up on his face, he didn’t like to stare at people an always found it embarrassing when they noticed or he noticed, bt she was just so, um, well, interesting. He shuffled his feet for a second not knowing what to say, the silence, it enveloped him for a few seconds and then cracked.

Yes, really, I do,’ He smiled nodding his head. ‘They really are miss, miss… um, I’m not sure I heard your name miss…’ A look coming across Akeyon’s face on how he had probably missed it. ‘My name would be Akeyon.

He soon wondered what she was thinking. Was she thinking about something that was in the far off distance? Or about him? No, she wouldn’t think about him…

"Reverie. No need for a miss, just call me Reverie." After winking, Reverie noticed him giving her the title 'Miss'. Funny. Am I really that of a 'miss'?

"So, Akeyon, what brought you up to this little field...or, what I'd like to call, my little paradise?" Truly, these wings were only built for flying. Well, warmth during the cold, but it was mainly for soaring in the sky. Other than that, it was just a hassle, getting in the way. Wings were amazing, but only when you were using them...'They aren't as great as you think they are.' Momma always said. Papa was very proud that I had them, but...but...Momma wished that I had wings so I could feel her pain and enjoyment...

Um, okay mis- I mean Reverie’ He said stumbling with words. He was so used to using Miss and Sir for others, never acquiring their name for reasons known to many. Actually he couldn’t believe she didn’t flinch when he said his name, turned, and walked off. Akeyon, thinking of this missed the wink and almost the entire rest of the question.

Um, I came around here to find a fruit I used to eat when I was a child. It only grew in Brynhild, and I mostly grew up in Hreidmar because of a raid in my village.’ He kept a brimming smile while saying this, but almost broke down inside… His mother…

The fruit was a blue to a purplish color, like that of your wings. That also explain why I had been picking at you wings earlier.’ He said smiling sheepishly.

Thoughts of his mother were running now through his mind, yet were not seen nor heard to Akeyon, but he caught a glimpse of something to the side of his head, whisked his head to the movement and then back to Reverie. It wasn’t anything that he could tell was real.

Addressing others with a 'miss' or 'sir' wasn't needed, unless they were of major importance. A 'country gal' like her was used to being equal like everyone else.

"Raid, in Hreidmar? Why, a few of my relatives were seperated during that. Apparently, I also lost contact of my sister..." Many would have thought lil Riri [Rikora] was her real little brother, but he was only an orphaned young child when they had lost her daughter somewhere, and believing she was dead, they took up Riri as if h were her brother....but no one can replace her.

Giving a small glance to her wings, she hadn't realized there could be such a fruit of that color. Quite queer, if one would ask her. "Is that so? Then....how about we look for this kind of fruit, together?" Reverie was quite in the mood to look for something. She could be laughing, smiling all day, or can be bored, watching clouds and remembering the loss of her sister. She preferred to be happy, and think the glass was half full than empty.

Akeyon was about to ask Reverie about her sister, but decided against it, a lot of people tended not to talk about dead family, he was one of them. He really didn’t have much family to begin with, his mother and father, and his cousins, aunt, and uncle, his siblings he had no clue were even alive, well had been, just that made his family a few Fafners short.

Siblings, he trailed of, must be amazing to have Akeyon though… He ‘never had any’ so he didn’t know what they were like at all. I guess though if he thought about it he could consider his cousins as siblings since he grew up with them, but they never really liked him because he ‘lied’ a lot to them.

Akeyon watched as Reverie turned her eyes to her wings, obviously trying to see that a fruit could carry the same color as her silky, tie-dyed wings. The fruit was such pretty color, with the most vibrant red inside that pierced all colors around it.

Really? You’ll help me look? It’s such an amazing fruit, especially if you get a sweet one, they’re usually bright blue, and the inside is a stunning red!’ Akeyon said explaining the fruit an walking over to Reverie and looking forward past some bushes that were right behind her.

I think they’re that way but… I’m not so sure, I haven’t seen the few trees they grew on in a few years.

Reverie looked up to him, and exhaled with a smile. The fruit seemed quite familiar with her, had she heard of it before? She brushed the thught off her shoulders, and began to walk.

"Of course I'll help you. What do these tree look like? Are they tall, or anything?" That's when it hit her. Hadn't her sister always wanted to look for a fruit that looked like a color such that they shared on their wings? And it seemed like her adopted brother said he had found a fruit before, except he gave it to a girl he had confessed to? ...Wait. Since when was Rikora-Forget it. I should think about this first...

Akeyon walked beside Reverie at neck and neck, walking the same pace. The few trees around them rustled with a slight breeze that wouldn’t even moved a cloud, yet moved the trees to let everyone know it was there, something that the animals around it took no regard of, but nether did the clouds, or the trees for that matter. The wind learned to deal with it.

Oh, well the trees a very interesting, the sweeter the fruit the tree bares the higher it grows, since many won’t try and reach it bearings they just pick around at the smaller trees which are sour making other animals not pick the fruit at all, leaving the trees in peace.’ Other then that the harvester knew that the trees had no bark, and that the wood was slippery an almost impossible to climb.

Also, the trees that the fruit grow on are said to becoming of an endangered species of plant, but that’s the other reason I’m going to find them!

Reverie looked around, and kept her eyes peeled. "Wow...Then we better find a better place to look for...I've been looking around here for weeks, and haven't seen anything like what you described...but we should keep searching...if it's that important, then we should start looking at things from outside the box..."

Well, he said it would be bluish...So maybe it could have been the color of the sky, maybe? Or possibly her wings...
