Ooh, I've seen these pictures before. Those two do an amzing job of their cosplays. :3 I'm particualrly fond of the the second and third pictures.

I saw all those pictures on DeviantArt. They're beautiful together. Not exactly what I like to see in SasuSaku, but they are very lovely.

As a cosplayer myself, I do not mean to be judgemental, but they are CUTE, but they're not accurate. And I'm no talking about the the costumes they made up; their wigs, their eyes, and other aspects-- and even their actual Shippuuden costumes are all inaccurate and not that well made. The wigs, I think, bug me the most. The one thing they have goinig for them is a good photographer and lots and lots of photoshopping.
But, I will admit, these photos are cute and I squeed the first time I saw them becuase, even if inaccurate, they are still decent cosplayers and it's still SasuSaku.

Hmm. Jin did once say that they don't always go for accuracy, but sometimes, what looks good. Naruto's hair was an example he gave, and I have to agree. I hate Naruto's hair. And not because it's too hard to draw, It's just so impractical, and not to mention the bright yellow clashes horribly with his complexion and bright orange clothing.
Artistically, it makes me sick to look at him. ;;; (Then again, that's just my taste in coloring. 8D )
I donno. I suppose it depends on who's looking. I really think they're beautiful cosplays~ Even without the photoshop, they're still some of the best I've ever seen (though that's not really saying much....).

People will take the liberties they need to, but ti is possible to be practically accurate and still take liberties.
I know many Naruto cosplayers who still do spikes (like Jin doesnt'), and do not use bright yellow wigs-- they'll use more sandy/blonde colored wigs with the spikes, which personally, look A LOT better than Jin's. Jin's wig looks like a bunch of natural, wet hair. I don't like it at all.
The bangs on Sakura look, unfortuntely, very stupid, in my opinion. She doesn't have bangs. You can make a good wig by curving the outside edges of her "bangs" in to frame her face and then flip out the back and tossle it around a bit. That way it's natural AND accurate.
Sasuke's hair, unfortuntely, is totally different. I think Michele's wig is the best i"ve ever seen-- since it doesn't actually hvae SPIKES, it's just cut and in the shape of a birds tail, I guess that's th ebest way to describe it. The spikes people do are ridiculous, they don't look natural.
I'm very picky about Naruto cosplayers -___-;; And I guess since the inaccuracies and ill-made costumes are really upsetting too. You have to look beyond the photography.
This said, I'm not the best cosplayer either (my costumes actually suck XD), so I'm not juding on myself... I just don't think they're that amazing.

But I think they have the ability to make the costumes more accurate, they just choose not to. And I suppose it all comes down to taste for what looks good and what doesn't.
(Like, I like the idea of giving Sakura her bangs back, but I'm not too fond of Sasuke's hair, as it's not very well-defined)

I guess I just look for differnet things in cosplayers.

Honestly, I don't care if they're not accurate. In fact, I'd LOVE to see Sakura with bangs again. razz
