Oliver strolled through the grass as the wind blew through his fur lightly. He hefted his bow higher on his shoulder. "Now where is that girl?" he asked himself as he looked around for Ginga. He hoped she would be here, for today he wanted to teach her to shoot a bow.

Ginga leaped after a grasshopper, jabbering away about how she catch it and name it Lillian. And that she and Lillian would leap through the fields together as best friends, dreaming like all young girls did. She forgot all about the grasshopper when she spotted Oliver with his bow and arrows.
Excitement flooded her as she skipped over to Oliver, waving at him

Oliver grinned when he spotted Ginga waving at him. He watched as she skipped over as adorable as can be. "Hey, Ginga. What are you up to?" he asked as he shifted his bow and arrows.

Ginga stopped by Oliver and grinned up at him. "Just chasing Lillian, she's a grasshopper. Are you going to shoot your bow today Oli?"

"Yep," he answered as he looked off into the distance. He scouted the landscape and finally decided the forest would be the best place to practice. He took a few steps towards the tree line before he stopped. He looked back at Ginga and smiled. "You coming?"

Oliver laughed at her great enthusiasm. She made him want to skip around excitedly too. "Just like Robin Hood!" They soon made it the the edge of the forest where Oli put down his stuff. He lifted his bow and examined it. "Have you ever seen a bow before?"

Ginga shook her and looked over Oli's bow when he lifted it. The only bows she had seen were the kind put on gifts, and the ones used in movies. In an almost, "Is it magic?"

Oli smiled down at her. "Not that I know of. But then again, you never know." He raised his eyebrows as he shrugged. He pulled out an arrow and positioned it on the bow. "Think we should try it out?"

"Yes! Yes!" Ginga moved to sit behind Oli, out of the way. Her eyes watched his every movement with open fascination.

Once Ginga was safely behind him, he aimed his shot. He pulled back the string and then paused. "You hungry?" he asked Ginga and then sent the arrow flying. It zipped off past a few trees and made its way straight to its target. The arrow hit the stem of an apple that hung from a tree, severing the cord. The apple fell to the ground, unscathed, and the arrow stuck into the tree.
Oliver gazed off at the arrow, making sure he had done it perfectly. Then he looked back at Ginga and smiled.

Ginga's eyes widened in aww, her gaze following the apple as it fell to the ground. When she finaly managed to find words she looked up at Oliver and grinned. "That was the coolest thing I've ever seen!"

Oliver grinned, glad he could entertain the kit. "You think so?" he asked as he took a few steps towards the apple and his arrow. "With some practice, you could learn to do that too," he said as he looked back at Ginga over his shoulder.

"Of course!" Oliver watched Ginga, wondering what she was thinking. Probably lost in her imaginative mind. He made his way to the where the apple lay; he picked it up and dusted it off. Then he carefully pulled the arrow out of the tree trunk. He made his way back to Ginga, holding the apple out to her.
