The tall Irishman settled down into his large, comfortable rolling chair, adjusting the sleeves on his baggy white shirt before turning on the monitor to his computer to take a look at his schedule for the day. Bringing one large hand up to cup his chin as he glanced over the calendar, he gave a small sigh as he realized that he had, in fact, an appointment to take care of for the day. He was; however, pleased to note that most of the others were already filled by Luca, with a few here and there taken care of by Adalia. With a sigh of relief, Fiach allowed himself to sit back in his chair and fiddle with the penny whistle he always wore around his neck.

Maybe things were starting to look up - at the least, he no longer had to worry about handling the ever growing customer load completely on his own. And he had a go between for Sionce and Adalia now, so that he didn't have to worry too much about dealing directly with either party. Perhaps hiring Luca out of spite was a blessing in disguise, after all.

Smiling softly, Fiach lifted the penny whistle to his lips and began to play a light, pleasant tune. It was one he hadn't played in a long time, but it was something to pass the time, and mark a small change in attitude. Even if it did wind up being just a short break from the hectic schedule of running .NET Hackers, it was enough to give the tall man a much needed rest and make him at least a little cheerier than he had been before.

His mind began to roam as the musical notes lifted his spirits and floated through the air of the shop, breaking the usual monotony of daily life at .NET. Always, though, he kept his bright blue eyes focused gently on the door, waiting for the customer he was to meet and explain the Hackers to.

Frowning slightly, Chance looked out the window of his car at the tall building that was his destination as his chauffeur came to a smart stop just steps away from the entrance. He still had many doubts about whether or not this .NET Hackers institution would be able to fix his problematic laptop. Considering the time it was taking to attempt to fix the damn thing, he probably could've saved himself a lot of trouble by simply discarding it and buying a new one. It wasn't as if he couldn't afford it, and there was nothing important on the laptop that he didn't already have a backup of somewhere. Absently, Chance thanked the driver as the door was opened for him and headed straight towards the heavy glass doors, still frowning as he approached.

This had better work. If the suggestion hadn't come from Xinai, he probably would have simply told the person to go to hell for suggesting such an absurd notion, but it had been his daughter who had requested, politely, that he visit a place called .NET Hackers before throwing the laptop out as trash. The intent look on his daughter's face when he'd mentioned the problem had only served to emphasize the request. It wasn't often that she showed any kind of unplanned emotion around him.

Entering the building, Chance found himself slightly amused and not quite surprised to find that the foyer was empty and nobody was sitting at the reception desk. There was, however, a sharp tune being played out of one of the corridors, and Chance debated a moment before following the music, hoping to find someone who could give him directions.

Stopping at the door to the room, Chance found himself face-to-face with a rather large man lounging comfortably in a rolling chair. Their eyes met, and he made a conscious effort to remove the slight frown on his face before asking, "I'm here looking for a Fiach? There was nobody at the reception so I was wondering if you could give me directions."

The jolly tune that rang through the air at .NET grew quieter, though no less pleasing to the ear as a gentleman walked through the door. Not quite trusting himself to greet the man, at first, as he approached, Fiach instead stubbornly continued to play the light song until the older man made his final approach to the desk he sat at. Allowing the song to stop mid-measure, he gently laid the penny whistle to rest in its usual resting spot - lightly against the shirt he wore, before taking in the image of the man who stood before him.

Doing his best to resist the urge to cringe or sigh when he saw the frown the man bore, Fiach instead strove for a friendly smile, as he listened to the man talk. It was with mild amusement, that his smile grew, and he gave a short nod before answering, "I'm afraid you've already found the person you're looking for." Judging from the question in the man's tone, Fiach had a feeling he wasn't quite what had been expected, and this made him feel awkward and embarrassed as his eyes ducked towards the counter out of habit when he was unsure, "My name is Fiach."

Bright blue eyes rose back up to greet the older man's as he gave a smile another try, "How may I help you?" Perhaps not the most graceful of greetings, but he was out of practice, and still not very confident in dealing with customers. Especially older men. The Brad fiasco was never far from his mind when a man that was obviously his better (and elder), approached him with a frown in regards to what his store had to offer.
