 Welcome to the Ravenclaw Common Room! This is where Ravenclaw's can come and relax, chat, and get away from the hassles of school. The Ravenclaw Common Room should still be counted as in chacater so please save OOC for the OOC thread.

Jessica trudged into the common room. It had been a long day and all she wanted to do was lie down on one of their couches and take a nap. She found a lush couch near one of the many coffee tables that decorated the room. She put her books down on the table with a loud thud and then laid down on the couch. She sighed and closed her eyes. "Finally...rest." She whispered.

Nicholas had walked into the common room, books tucked under his arm. He sighed as he sat down on one of the couches and opened one of his text books. After reading up through a few chapters he actually started on his homework. He had already completed some of it so it didnt take to long to finish it and since he had time to spare and the couple of nights before he had stayed up studying, he decided to take another short nap. So he laid down on the couch ignoring any passing ravenclaw's and dozed off.

Jessica heard movement in the common room, more of the Ravencalws were coming in to get ready for dinner. She opened her eyes and looked around. The common room was empty for Nick resting on a near by couch. "The other students must be in the dorms." She said softly to herself. "Hey, Nick!" She walked over to him and shook his shoulder gently.

Nicholas quickly opened his eyes. Someone had woken him up and that someone was Jess. He sat up and glanced around noticing a few ravenclaws bustling out of the common room. "Oh, hey Jess whats up?" He asked as the drowziness of just being woken up went away.

Jessica giggled and sat on the arm of the couch. "Nothing much, I just thought I'd wake you up and see how the Charm's paper is coming."

Nicholas smiled and answered "I am pretty sure its done actually. Unless I dreamed about finishing it..." He didnt discount that theory, it had happened before. "How about your paper? Ever finish it?" he asked her.

jessica put a stray strand of her brunette hair behind her ear and smiled. "I'm almost done. There's just been so much going on lately that I forgot about it. I'll probably knock it out tonight before I go to bed, I only have a few more sentances of the third paragraph and the conclusion to do. Not too bad."

"yeah not too bad for a slacker like you" He teased. Then he stood up and adjusted his glasses then asked her "But anyways what time is it?" He was thinking that dinner might be coming up soon.

Jessica scoffed. "Hey that's the most I have ever procrastinated on a paper! I think I'm begining to act like a regular student now! Gasp!" She smiled and looked around at the nearly empty common room. "Not sure, gotta be close to dinner though, no one is here."

Nicholas faked gasp as well "A regular student in Ravenclaw! No" he said with a light laugh. "Well if it is close to dinner, you wanna go ahead and head down?" he asked her, a small smile still playing across his lips. He was in a pretty good mood by this time. The day hadnt been to bad.

"Sounds good to me. I'm starving, we skipped lunch. But I always say that dinner at Hogwarts surpasses all other meals." She smiled and stood up. "Lead the way!"

"Yep dinner is the best meal" he commented then started walking out of the common room and towards the great hall with jessica in tow.

Jessica led Kate into the Ravencalw common room. It was a large room with book cases lining the walls, desks scattered around, lush couches, and coffee tables. "Well, this is it. I know it's not dark and mysterious like the Slytherin common room but it's still home...at least to the book worm type." she smiled softly and sat down on one of the couches. "Come, sit." she said patting the space next to her.

"Its fine. At least its not cold and dripping water from the ceiling" she commented, plopping herself down on one of the chairs.
"So..." she started, not liking the idea of being down here, "What do I do...and no" she cut it, "I am not telling that old coot!"
