 Wildpaw trotted high spiritedly towards the training area, close to the burnt oak. Wildpaw was eeficiant in hunting, but his best asset was his strength and wits in battle. He would be a warrior to be feared in battle one day. Often, even without Tiferheart, he would go down to the training area to practice by himself.

Magmapaw headed towards the training area. He felt determined to be a better fighter than everyone else and he wasn't going to wait around for his mentor to train him every time he needed it. He caught sight of his brother, Wildpaw, and ran to catch up to him.
"Hey, you ready to see how a real warrior fights?" he asked, smiling and lashing his tail.

Wildpaw's playful nature allowed him to let the comment brush off him.
"Hope you're not talking about yourself," wildpaw mewed back, nudging Magmapaw good naturedly. Wildpaw was a pretty good size for a newer apprentice, and so was his brother, seeing as how it seemed their focus was on battle training.

"Who else would I be talking about? Obviously not you."
He continued walking towards the training area, his tail still lashing mischievously.
"Come on, show me what your mentor has taught you so far!"
He tensed, ready for a challenge. What better way to get stronger than to train against his own brother?

Wildpaw snorted as this one passed his good nature. His temper sparked a little, but not much.
"Oh, I thought you were talking to that ant over there perhaps seeing as how thats the only thing you could compare yourself too and be able to consider yourself a warrior."
They entered the training area, a spot of dry firm ground, dappled with sunlight froma few overhaning trees.
"Huh, I have more than what hes taught me," Wildpaw, meowed, crouching. He waited for his brother to move first. it was easier to cats an enemy off guard witha counter than with direct assult.

Magmapaw remembered what Foxwillow had said about patience, so he waited. But after neither of them made a move, he shook that lesson out of his head and attacked. He used his muscles to launch himself into the air and attempted to land on his brother's back so that he could sink his teeth into Wildpaw's scruff. He just had to remember to jump off if Wildpaw tried to roll over. He had been squished before; he didn't want that to happen again!

Wildpaw acted quickly when he saw his brother launch into the air. He leapt back, to make Magmapaw's attack fall short of him. Wildpaw quickly stusk out with his paws, attempting to hit the sides of Magmapaw's head.

Magmapaw ducked underneath Wildpaw, rolled onto his back and kicked at his brother's underbelly. He was also squished by his mentor this way, so he was ready this time to roll out of the way.
"You can't catch me!" he taunted.

Wildpaw thought quickly, pounded in the stomach a few times before he ducked forward in an odd summersault. He rounded on his brother laying on his back and kept himself low to the ground and swiped out with a paw, bringing it down towards Magmapaw's face.

Magmapaw tried to get up quickly, but was hit in the head by his brother's paw.
"Is that all you can do?"
He spun around so that he could send an explosive back kick to Wildpaw's face. Magmapaw was desperate to win the fight, to show that he was the strongest of the three brothers.

Wildpaw's extra training came in handy right now, and his temper began to boil slightly at Magmapaw.
"Where did you reserve the right to gloat when you're no where near winning?" Wildpaw snorted, noting his brother turning for a back kick, he ducked as Magmapaw's legs flew out. Wildpaw knew Magmapaw was a good fighter, but his pride would not help him win, or his petty insults. Wildpaw knew he was lucky he hadnt been hit by that back kick. Wildpaw took his chance, and dove at his brothers back legs as they accended back to earth, trying to grap one and pull him to the ground.

"Well you're not beating me, either! And I'm not going to lose to you!" Magmapaw shouted.
He felt his brother trying to grab his back legs, so he kicked with one of his back legs, spun around, and swiped at Wildpaw with one of his forepaws.

The second kick caught the side of Wildpaw's face, but he swiftly rolled with the movement, rolling out of the way of Magmapaw's swiping paws. Had he risisted the kick, he would have sustained more damage. The sideof his face hurt but he instantly forgot it. Wildpaw made a dash at Magmapaw, and sidestepped at the last second, making him behind Magmapaw. Wildpaw turned on his paws, letting the momentum of his run spin him, and let his legs fly out at Magmapaw's side in the turn.
"Magmapaw, you let false pride control you. You're no better then Driftpaw or me. We all have our specialties, and its not about being the best and beating everyone else. What are you? an ambitious reincarnate of a pathetic Tigerstar?"

Magmapaw jumped back, just barely dodging Wildpaw's kick.
"What's your specialty then? Being weak?"
He then tried to bite Wildpaw's tail in order to pull his brother to the ground.
"And I'm not pathetic!"

Wildpaw continues swinging around until he was facing his brother, his tail twitching irratably at almost being bitten. Wildpaw bared his teeth angrilly as his temper rose. His fur rose dangerously as he snarled at his brother.
"Listen to yourself, bonebrain. You insult those that are close to you with no after thought. You act like your the greatest cat that has ever lived. You insult those that are just as strong as you, if not stronger. You have no respect for the warrior code, or any other living thing at all. You are pathetic."
Wildpaw grit his teeth, forcing himself to keep his claws in. He had been angry before, but the fact it was his own brother throwing insults at him added sting. Wildpaw lbounded at Magmapaw, ready to sidestep lest he jump away.
