Night. What a beautiful sight. To some, night may be a pest but to a few it's the best time of the day. The sky is an amazing sight when the clouds are gone only leaving the moon and stars. The glimmering stars are eye catching and the moon is ever so bright.
Under the darkened sky a little ball of yellow was seen. Pichu ran throughout the field in search of the perfect spot to go start gazing. As she weaved through the blades of tall grass she hit a rock and tumbled forwards out of the grass and down a hill. She yelped and slid until she was able to find something to grab a hold of. "Oy! That may have been a painful tumble! Stupid me~ I need to be more careful on where I run off too or I might get into trouble." She told herself as she scratched the back of her neck and ending with a giggle. Once she regained her footing she decided the hill was perfect.((That's a bit better. :3))

Ah night-time, Eclipse's favorite part of the day. It was a time when he could roam freely without having to worry about not fitting in because his black coat blended perfectly against the night sky. In fact, he looked like the night sky, with a small crescent moon upon his forehead. Eclipse walked at a decent pace through the trail he was on, searching for something to do. "Hmm, food maybe?" Eclipse was a bit hungry after all. He carried himself at a faster pace now, searching for somewhere to eat. As he walked he heard the sound of something falling a small distance away. "Rocks?" He thought. "Maybe... Or someone?" Eclipse was rather shy, and wry, so he wasn't sure if he should go forth or not. Eventually he decided on going for it, because the area ahead did have some nice grass and berries. "What's the worst that can happen?" he said to himself.

Still finding her little tumble to be rather funny she laughed at herself. What a funny place to fall. Rolling down a hill, so silly. After a while of laughing a rumbling was heard. "Hmm?" She looked around wondering what it could be. She heard the rumble a few more times before realizing it was her own stomach. "Oh. Hee. I must have forgotten to eat again." She looked around for something to eat. "Hmm... I know there must be some berries or something somewhere."
She lifted herself up and started down the hill. Not before long she tripped again and tumbled the rest of the way. "Meh!!" She lifted herself up and shook herself off, then proceeded to sniff out a berry bush. "Ah! There you are!" She trotted over to the nearest berry bush her nose found and searched for the berries of her liking.

Eclipse proceeded to walk towards the sound he had heard before, and once again he heard it. "Hmm... Rocks?" Eclipse just assumed it was loose rocks at this point, and carried on.
He slowly approached the top of the hill he had been walking on, and looked down carefully, so as not to miss a step. However, we he looked down he happened to find something he wasn't expecting. Wandering throughout the field below was a small yellow creature, similar to Eclipse himself.
"Another... ulaya?" Eclipse said out-loud quietly. "Should I go down there...? I mean there are other berry bushes around..." Eclipse stood at the top of the hill for a few minutes, until finally deciding to go ahead and go down. "Perhaps they won't even notice me." He told himself, there were enough berries down there for more than one Ulaya after all.

After a while of searching the bushes she found the patch she was looking for. The berries on that particular bush where red in color and had a sweet taste to them. Pichu was all about sweet things. As long as it was sweet she'd probably be found eating it. "There you are!" she said happily to the berry bush.
Entertaining herself some while eating she crouched down and stalked the bush. Her ears lay flat on her head and her eyes wide. With a small battle cry she leaped into the bush. She climbed out of the bush a few moments later with some berries in her mouth in which she sat down on a rock and ate them happily.
Her ear twitched as she heard a noise. "Hmm?" she noised as she turned her head. Her eyes fell upon another ulaya. Mostly dark in color with some white and golden eyes. She doesnt remember ever meeting that ulaya so she wondered if the ulaya came as a threat or not but optimistically thinking that the other was only here for some berries. She continued to eat her berries that she had with her as she watched the other walk closer.

As he made his way down the hill, Eclipse took another look at the other Ulaya, just to make sure they weren't movings towards him to attack. As he looked over however, he noticed the girl staring back at him.
Slowly she had turned away, but Eclipse remained transfixed on the yellow girl before him.
Coming back to his sense Eclipse trotted down the hill, to a small patch of berries opposite of the girls. "I can eat here..." He said to himself, hoping he wouldn't bother the girl.

Pichu continued to eat happily and noticed that the ulaya that was on the hill had really come to eat berries. She grew happy that she wasn't in danger and turned towards the patch of berries that the other went to.
"Hello!" Pichu greeted in a perky tone to the new visitor. "A nice place to eat berries huh?" She was glad that she could share the wonder of the berry bushes with someone. After her little outburst she became worried that she may have upset the other ulaya with her talking. For all she knew she was interrupting peaceful thinking.

Eclipse was startled and choked on the berry he was eating when the ulaya had spoken. "..." He couldn't manage any words.
After eventually clearing his throat, and realizing the girl was no threat, Eclipse turned to face her. "Uhm... hi there?" Eclipse was a rather shy boy, never really associating with anyone outside his immediate family, so he rarely knew what to say to anyone or how to react.
Eclipse looked back down to the berries he was eating then nodded in response to the question he had been asked.

"Oh oh oh! I'm sorry!" Pichu immediately apologized after seeing the other get startled. "I didn't mean to startle you.." I guess sometimes trying to get someone attention when they aren't aware of it can be bad at times. She really was sorry, though something about it she found quite funny.
"Hi!" Pichu responded back, proceeding to watch him after that and caught his nod. "Yeah. There are so many berries here you could be here for hours just eating a few." she laughed, trying to lighten the mood some. "Oh! I'm Pichu by the way." she chirped before grabbing some more berries to eat.

"It's alright" Eclipse said to the young girl before him rather quietly. He wasn't much of a talker to begin with, so when he did talk it was very low and quiet. It wasn't that he was scared to talk, it was just that he never knew what to say when, so he tended to rarely reply at all.
"I suppose so... There are quite a few berries." Eclipse took back to chewing on a berry before replying again. "My name is Eclipse..." he said quietly while munching on another berry.
"What're you doing around here? Do you live here?" Eclipse felt like he needed to say something, he didn't want to be rude to Pichu.

Pichu's ears were pulling an all nighter making sure she caught everything the other said due to his quiet voice. "Ok." she politely nodded.
"There are alot of them. What kind of berry is your favorite?" Pichu questioned before catching the others name. "Eclipse huh? Nice to meet you Eclipse!" she chirped with a smile.
"Hm? Oh! I'm star gazing." she replied as her attention turned to the sky. "No I dont live around here. I wouldn't say I lived really far from here though." Looking down back at Eclipse she started again. "How about you? Do you live around here?"

Eclipse looked up at the Pichu as he spoke this time.
"Hmm, my favorite would probably be this blue ones. I don't know what they're called though." He then proceeded to nudge a blue colored berry with his nose.
"Nice to meet you as well..." He wasn't really sure if it was nice or not. The girl sounded nice to him, but Eclipse, being antisocial, didn't find happiness in company all too often.
Eclipse stared up at the sky as well, the moon matching his forehead.
"I sort of live around here... Just over that hill really."
He went back to eating his berries waiting for a response.

Pichu looked at the berry Eclipse was talking about. She had no idea what practically any of the berries here were called so she had no response in a possible name of that berry for him.
"Ah, that neat! Living so close to where the berries you like are." She responded, then looking up at the sky, since Eclipse did, adding. "You live next to a really nice hill for star gazing. You're lucky."
She stared at the moon for a few seconds then back at Eclipse then at the moon again. "Kind of like your head huh?" she happily said, poking her own head in the same spot the crescent moon is on his head.

Eclipse continued to munch on a few berries as the Pichu talked, nodding occasionally.
"I suppose it's nice. I've always liked looking up at the stars. Though, I do change where I live sometimes, I mean, you have to you know?"
To be honest, Eclipse didn't like moving. Being stationary was a luxury he could not afford, because in daylight, he was as obvious as anything, and even in night, his markings seemed to glow, even just slightly.
"Ahah, I guess so." Eclipse felt that that marking somehow connected him to the moon, even if it was, just a marking.
"You've got some interesting markings yourself, Pichu." Eclipse had to add, trying to be polite.

Pichu's ears perked as Eclipse talked about moving. "Oh.. I guess I can understand why sometimes ulaya move. Atleast wherever you go you can see stars at night!" She would hate having to move alot, but would be glad that wherever she went somethings stayed the same.
She grabbed and ate a few more berries before hearing Eclipse again. "Hm? Oh, Haha I wouldn't say they were all that interesting." she lightly laughed. "They're not at interesting as yours."
Going back to what Eclipse was saying earlier Pichu had another comment. "Maybe you should find a spot you really like and stay put," she smiled. "It must get annoying having to move and find a new spot to live."
