Is anyone else disgusted by this gross misrepresentation of Green Day's career? I was watching it, and it made me want to barf, it was so bad.
It made it seem as though they were "failures" because they didn't last as a "punk" image, and became a mainstream rock band.
It also took stuff that they had said in interviews that were jokes and put a dramatic piano playing in the background and then faded it away all seriously. As if they were being serious about it.
It also made it seem like Americain Idiot was their first and only sucess, and all their other albums were total crap.
Americian Idiot is good and all, but it isn't my favorite. And I'm sure many other fans would agree.
Anyways. If you haven't seen it don't, but if you decide to watch it, bring a couple of extra barf bags with you...

Exactly! Like when Billie said "Find a happy place, find a happy place" he wasn't being serious! Wtf! and when Frankie said "I need a new wife" he was smiling! Meaning he wasn't being serious!!
And 2 million (Insomniac) is not that bad! Insomniac is a damn good album! The concept of American Idiot is good, but it's really not their best album. It's well constructed and has good songs. Big deal.
Green Day is the most successful rock band out there today! Dumbasses!

I hate it when people misportray others...pisses me off to no ******** end. I didn't see the program, but with the way you two are talking about it, it was no doubt s**t.
Jeez, people are waay to closed-minded. They never look at the big picture, including as far as Green Day is concerned. If I had a nickel for every person who said 'greenday sux' without any probable cause, I'd be the richest person in the world. They're all stoopidheads.

that was the most stupidest ******** show i have ever seen. the narrator sounded ghetto, that did not suit at all. they completely over exadurated on every detail! bloody bastards. sure the band had problems but wtf? they made it seem like a 100 people died or something. it was great seeing them on tv though...
