The wind ruffled. The sky shined bright. The grass swayed and shined along with the wind and sun. Cherrie was laying down by a small river, her childish feet dipped into it as she smiled to herself and looked quiet happy. She was happy because the other day.. well, she and Mogwai became an official 'couple'. A small darkish red lit on her face as her wings flap lightly. She did not expect that to happen, but was very grateful.
Ever since Cherrie met Mogwai she's had some liking for him, ever since the first day. Maybe it was the way he though, or just because he was the first person to talk to her. Shaking her head lightly, she stared up at the clouds. What ever it was, Cherrie was very happy to know that someone liked her.. not for her smell, or the way she looks. But just for herself, hopefully.

Mogwai lay on top of a hill that overlooked a river. He had been peacefully staring at the sky and thinking about all that had happened recently when a familiar scent was blown up and around him. It was a scent that always managed to put that awkward smile on his face and make his heart flutter anxiously. He leaned over and looked down to see Cherrie by the rivers edge, and he watched her contently.

Cherrie sighed at recalling the previous events before flushing at her rumbling stomach. Rolling her eyes at her self she stood up, flapped her wings a few times before folding them behind her beck and bent down to the lake looking for some fish. "Mm, there has to be some here that I can eat.. Oh there's one!" She stared for a moment before bending down and scooping the fish up.
"It's small.. but can fill me for a while.."

Mogwai flipped over on his stomach as he watched Cherrie, his arms folded under his head. His tail wagging at a steady pace from back to right and the winds continuing to keep him cool. He was waiting to be noticed, or if he had been already, he was waiting for a cue to say it was alright for him to join her.

Cherrie thought for a moment before bending down to scoop out one more fish. She stood out of the small river and placed both fish on the ground, and away from the as she looked up and smiling softly at Mogwai. "Do you want something to eat ,or are you just going to stare?" She let out a soft laugh as she move back to where the fish were.

Mogwai chuckled to himself as she talked to him. Apparently, he had been noticed pretty easily, and she had anticipated his answer. He stood up and walked down the hill until he met with Cherrie at the fish.

Smiling, she lifted up one of the medium sized fish she caught and handed it to Mogwai. "Good morning.. how are you?" The brown covered maroon angelic sat down by the river as she began to nibble at the fish and look at Mogwai.

"Thank you" he said as he was handed the fish, and sat down comfortably next to her and the river, his feet dipped in the cool water. "I am doing well this morning, and you?" he replied before taking a small bite out of his own fish.

"I am doing perfectly fine.." She nodded and sighed lightly. "Still a little in shock of what happened a few days ago.. but.. happy about it at the same time."

He chuckled lightly before looking at the clouds. "You aren't the only one in shock from that. I never imagined I'd be worthy enough to love someone, nor have dreamed they would hold the slightest feeling back for me. I feared it, love that is, and dubbed it an impractical emotion for life... But, no emotion is impractical if we are to live life as it is meant."

Chuckling lightly, she nods "Yes, that is very true... I have to admit I was scared of it as well.. I was scared when I felt something for you..But.." She blushes now and looks down at her fish. "We're together now, and .. both in love.. what do you suppose we should do?"

Mogwai looked down to his fish as well. "Well, I care not what we do... Whatever it be, it will be wonderfully enjoyable because it's with you..." he trailed off, blushing and picking at the scales on his fish.

She almost chocked on the piece of fish she was nibbling on. Her face burned up from this and she smiled shyly as she kept her head down. Soft maroon red ears twitching back and forth as she begins talking in a voice as shy as her smile. "I-it will be enjoyable because I'm with you as well... maybe.. we can go on a small walk..?"

Mogwai continued to silently blush as he listened to her and nibbled his bit of fish. He swallowed it before nodding and very softly smiling to her. "A walk would be... nice."

Cherries smile widens even more now as she picks her head up and tries to finish her fish faster than normal. "Ohh.. I can't wait, but.. where should we go eat?"
