As the two trainers were beginning to enter the stadium a large screen came down from the ceiling, revealing twelve different panels. In the center of the panels was a large spinner, slowly moving. As the spinner passed each location the panel lit up. Finally the spinner stopped on...
The City Streets Field!
Broken tar and faded yellow lines make up the “street” that runs down the exact center of the battle field. On either side of the road, sidewalks with pieces of concrete here and there are broken off while “building walls”, set with windows of sugar glass and rotating doors are placed on one side of the street. On the other is a broken down building with barred window and a boarded up door. Faint traces of grim and much cover the walls of both “buildings” while trash cans and trash bags decorate the street; some are torn open with their contents spilled out while others are not. A sewer grate nearby continually pours a stream of fog into the air while, on the corner near a crossroad, a phone booth is seen. The phone, hanging off the hook, makes a continuous busy signal. Dying and dead bushes line the building sides while occasional breezes blow the dead leaves onto the sidewalks and road.

Lenne walked out onto the stadium floor with her headphones playing loudly, disturbing the silence that was apparent before she entered.
"Ah, the city...? What an interesting choice." Lenne had never been on a city-field before, so this would be interesting.
"Come on out Clemmy!" Called Lenne, as she reached into her tote-bag and pulled out the luxury ball that contained Clementine.
Clementine appeared right in front of Lenne, stretching and preparing for battle.
Now all they had to do was wait for their opponent to enter the stadium.
((We do an introduction/entrance and roll 1 six-sided die to see who will attack first. After that we can either do an introduction to eachother, or get straight to the battle))

Sasu-chan was giddy about battling. Her muscles tensed as the spinner landed on the nasty smelling field. She stuck her tongue out at it, obviously not used to the city. It was just a Pokemon Field, and Logic was very used to the field... So with much force, she pushed herself into the stadium, eyeing the other trainer and smiling, waving happily before pulling her head towards a belt.
Reaching onto a strangely decorated belt, the trainer flung a red and white pokeball into the air, only to let a few words escape her mouth. "Logic, join the party!" She always introduced her pokemon in a strange way. People always seemed weirded out at her strange attitude. Instead of having the past thoughts roam her mind, she stared ahead as a cat pokemon appeared from the pokeball.
Logic was also pumped, not exactly giddy like his trainer, but ready to face whatever challenge he ended up facing. Though meeting the nasty smell of city streets made him grumble. This brought back too many memories. Looking ahead to meet his opponent the Meowth smirked. A Cubone? This should be interesting.

Seeing her opponent step onto the field prepared Lenne. She dusted off her shirt and leggings, turned up her music, and stood ready.
"Ah, a Meowth, I'm fond of cats..." Lenne really was fond of cats, hoping to obtain a skitty one day.
"My name is Lenne." She said to the girl before her. Lenne set her bag down next to her on the trainer-box. "This, is my Cubone Clementine." As she said those words Clementine curtsied towards her opponents.
"Ah... perfect." Lenne whispered gently towards Clementine.
"Enjoy the battle."

She put on her most cheerful smile, looking insanely hyper from the way her eyes were, because they were wider, as if she had been given sugar.
As the trainer's name ran through her head, then the Cubone's name, Sasu-chan smile and nodded, her eyes closed. "M'name's Sasu-chan! Sasu for short." the girl nodded hyperly, "... And this is my Meowth Logic." Then looked down at the Meowth before her. His expression seemed smart looking, as if he had gone to school and done some human work. But he always wore that expression.
"Thanks, I will." She would have had that hyper streak in her voice, but Sasu-chan was worried about Logic. He tended to get a bit more violent than usual, and she did not want to let him hurt another too much. Looking back at the Clementine, then Lenne, she smiled once more, trying to forget her troubles.

Lenne stared at the girl who was oddly smiling at her, it made her slightly uncomfortable. "Erm, yeah... Hi Sasu." Lenne wasn't one for introductions, or at least those that involved people she didn't take an automatic liking to.
"Come on Clementine, let's start this off!" Clementine posed, then stood in position, ready to attack.
"Start of smart and use Leer!"
Clementine eyes focused in on the meowt before her and started to glow a vibrant red, lowering the foes defenses.

Grumbling in anger, she watched the Cubone's eyes glow mysteriously, and watched as Logic backed away, seeming scared of the Pokemon's attack. Sasu-chan wasn't one for defense attacks, and usually started flinging moves out there like a complete nut.
But she was a nut, so who cares? "Logic, use Slash!"
Smiling somewhat, Logic unsheathed his claws, which seemed to be glowing strangely. In speed, he ran after Clementine, his paw up while claws unsheathed, ready to strike.

Clementine saw the meowth running at her and managed to avoid most of the attack, getting struck mainly on her rear as she moved.
"Clementine watch it! We can't have you getting all scratched up right before a contest!" Lenne couldn't have her one and only pokemon becoming all distraught and broken.
"Clementine, use Focus Punch!"
Clementine darted after the meowth, ready to attack.

Sasu-chan gritted her teeth hard, here knuckles clenching hard. Logic could lose a lot of strength from that move. Ouch... This would be a tough battle alright, she thought with much frustration to her own forceful nature.
Logic didn't avoid the attack to well, resurfacing from the move in a second, and waiting impatiently for his trainer's next move. But she seemed rather frustrated with the battle, and Logic suddenly feared that the battle might turn for the worst. Oh he hoped his trainer wouldn't get to upset if events turned. He hoped.
Sighing angrily, "Logic, use Faint Attack!" Sasu-chan ignored her frustration, and resumed tactics on the battle.
As the attack was shouted, he was already in action, seeming to disappear ominously, reappearing next to Clementine with his claws unsheathed once more.

((Sasu, my last attack would have done 200 damage, not 150. Because it's 100 basic damage, 50+ for the super effective, then another 50+ for your -50Def))
Clementine, unable to predict where the meowth was going to appear, got struck by Logic's claws. Thankfully, it was concentrated on the skull, so she didn't physically get hurt on her body, but her head stung a little.
"Clementine, watch yourself out there! Never underestimate your opponent, remember that." Lenne wasn't too fond of Clementine getting struck so blatantly. If she had concentrated she could have at least dodged most of the attack.
"Clementine, let's try Brick Break!" Lenne knew her type strengths and weaknesses so she hoped she could gain advantage off of those.
Clementine charged towards the meowth through the tar-worn streets, bone club ready to hit.
