Arriving in the Lynari Desert, Kerus was finally in a region, which meant different odds for location and reward. She readied her water and held her key blade tight, she checked her arm, where she had beaten with her Healing Rod on the way here to heal other wounds, but even healing, the beating from the rod still resonated.
As she walked along a variety of creature moved around her, but didn’t get near as the Cactus Flower was still in her hair. She wandered around a bit before finally spotting her query. The small Cactus this time was a Cactoid, something she hadn’t fought yet.
The Cactoid was actually lying on the ground, sleeping softly. Kerus decided to end this quickly. She started with a quick swing of key blade, only to have the cactus leap up and over it, as if it was never asleep.
She sung her other arm as the thing couldn't dodge while leaping and a large slash of water impacted it knocking it backward and onto the ground hard. The thing retailiated with a barrage of needles, while Kerus jumped up, opening her wings she just barely dodged the attack, while she swopped down and tried to strike with her keyblade agian, only to have the creature dash around her. It tried another needle barrage, but a blast of water deflected a lot of it.
Kerus didn't stop her movement as she followed her water, dashing forward and slashing the cactus hard and fast, it flew back as it launched needles all around it, to only have a wave of water srround it and soon it fell to the ground.
