 She was sent to live with her aunt after her heart was completley shattered. Too afraid to get stiched up she keeps pushing anyone away. He lives across the street, admiring her from a distance. He's confident but he's part of a gang. When he gains the courage to talk to her...She just pushes away. Him being stubborn...keeps trying. After a freak accident her aunt has to leave..but she doesnt wasnt her to be alone. Her aunt knows his Mom.. Now She is stuck with him checking up on her..and he doesn't mind. Will she stop pushing away? Will his gang get in the way?

Jamie had always held gang meetings in the house across the street. It always felt awkward having his mom burst in with cookies in the middle of picking out people to go sabotage the efforts of the rival gangs to take over territory. Now he wasn't sure what the girl would do if he turned up on her doorstep with a dozen or two tough guys reading to raid her fridge and imply that her baking skills should be put to use.
But he did it anyways.
The missus had given him a key, so he used it. He gingerly stepped into the entryway, kicking off his shoes. He looked around, waiting for the girl to come in. He sneaked into the kitchen and got himself some cereal while he waited for the guys.

Amanda was laying on the couch with her I-pod. She was wearing her black corset top with her jean skirt. She hadn't heard anything,considering her blasting I-pod. She layed there on the couch sprawled out her, hair spiked and her eyes closed.
She wasn't too happy about that guy coming over. Her aunt was too worried about her. Amanda sighed and listened to her music.

Jamie began to wander, trying to find his stash. He found Amanda laying on the couch, listening to music. He didn't disturb her, instead going over to the book case and pulling out 'War and Peace'. He opened it up like the learned gentleman he was... and pulled out a flask. He glanced at Amanda before taking a gulp. He needed it! It was horrid going through those meetings just because his dad lead the gang before he did and then skipped town.

Amanda noticed a change in the light and opened her eyes. She sat up fixing her skirt . She looked over at Jamie and rolled her eyes pulling her headphones out. "What are you doing?" she asked not really interested. She didn't understnad why this guy bothered coming around.

"Preparing for the meeting." he said simply, taking another gulp. "And to check up on you. Ma's orders." he said, although her outfit was drool worthy. He gulped, trying not to stare.

"Your such a Mamas boy" she said rolling her eyes. She sat back on the couch crossing her legs. "What meeting?...wait don't answer that" she got up and started walking to the kitchen "If your inviting your boyfriends to my house..make sure they leave food for me" she walked into the kitchen noticing a bowl.She rolled her eyes and sat on the counter biting into an apple.

He followed her in and sat down at the table. He propped his feet up on the table, looking at her. "So, you going to bake us cookies? Or will I have to do it?"

Amanda looked at him like he was insane"Do I look like a maid to you? make em yourself." she rolled her eyes and bit into the apple again.She fixed a strand of her black hair."And try not to be complete animals? I don't wanna have to come out here and tame you little girl scouts kay?"

She narrowed her eyes "You'd probably enjoy it.." She didn't know him that well. Her left hand was on the knife behind her. "You don't scare me jamie..nothing does" she didn't know what she was getting into.

He grabbed her wrist in a swift movement, his eyes hardening. He squeezed her wrist tightly, glaring into her eyes. "You will be." he growled.
