Hope you don't mind me putting this in this subforum...I'm sorry if it's wrong.
I'm going to college next year and probably going to major in French and/or Linguistics. I don't know much about Computational Linguistics but it sounds really interesting, and my school apparently has a program but I don't know how to get in or if undergrads even can get in. So if I did want to do Computation Linguistics (maybe in grad school?) should I try for a major or minor in CS as well, or would a couple classes be enough? And does anyone have any advice for picking Linguistics courses? Or good electives to take that might come in handy for a Linguistics major? Or general college wisdom?
(sorry, I'm freaking out a bit over picking classes...as you can probably tell.)

I don't know anything about computational linguistics, either. I knew someone who was majoring in it, but as a senior he decided he hated it and changed his major and switched schools.
