It was a hot summer day and Arctic was bored. He lay at the side of one of the many rivers that ran through the forest. Running a paw through the water he sighed. ‘Where is everyone? It so quiet today,’ he thought to himself.

Rue Stood in the middle of the river enjoying its coolness “Come on in Koa the water fine!” Rue exclaimed. High above Koa flew, about ready to dive into the water near to Rue. Down below Rue continued splashing the water even if it was scaring away the fish.

Arctic blinked hearing splashing. "Huh," looking up he couldn't believe his eyes. There in the middle of the river was a little rina. Standing he walked carefully into the water. "Hello," he called softly not wanting to scare the little one.

Rue turned around and spotted Arctic, never seeing an adult tae before she awed in amazement. Koa Flew down and landed on Rue’s head amazed by the sight of an adult Tae.
“Wow it’s big.” Rue said

Arctic laughed at Rue's comment. "My name is Arctic. What is your name and who is your friend?"

“I’m Rue this is Koa.” Rue said looking up at the little grey familiar.
“How come you’re so big?” Rue asked swimming towards the bank for she was getting tired.

Arctic smiled at the rina and faeshae. "Its nice to meet you Rue and Koa." He blinked startled by the question. "I've never thought about it before, maybe because I'm an adult."

“you’re an Adult? You mean I’ll grow that big too?” Rue question when she noticed his tail.
“I like your tail.” She said trying to play with it.
Koa jumped Rue's head to Arctic’s head and gave a friendly chirp

"Yes, one day you will." Arctic glanced back at his tail. "Thank you." He moved his tail to let Rue play with it. He laughed as Koa jumped on to his head.

Rue like Playing with Arctic’s tail. It was so soft she just wanted to sleep on it.
“So what are you doing all the way out here?” she asked looking up at Arctic.
Koa made a small chirp that sounded kinda like a yeah why.

Arctic continued to move his tail back and forth. "Just enjoying the day. What are you two doing out here?"

“Well we got hungry and tried coming out here to catch a fish but that isn’t working out well.” Rue said pawing at his tail.
“It’s so hard to catch them.”
Koa mewed something that sounded like yeah

“Please and thank you!” Rue exclaimed elated. “It’s really hard for me to catch a fish. My eyesight isn’t the best.” She said with a sigh
Koa mewed a thank you to and flew off Arctic’s head and landed on Rue’s

Arctic chuckled at Koa's antics. Walking into the middle of the river he looked down. This river was one of his favorites do to the large number of fish it contained. Carefully reaching out he snagged a good sized fish as it tried to swim past. Walking back to the bank he placed the fish down in front of Rue. "There you are."
