((This is a self RP, showing what Demy will go through in between being kicked out by Lou and the next big event in his life.

Please do not post here, it is meant for me and me alone.))

Day 1

Ears flat, a very broken-hearted Demy Stardust wandered down the street from his former home. He should have known! It simply was too good to be true. A home, someone who cared about him, even a job...all through meeting one guy.

But of course, he'd screw things up and be turned on once more. It seemed fate wanted to punish him for something he simply didn't understand. He had been famous! A star that fans adored and venues fought to get. Now he was a nothing, reduced to the clothes on his back, the contents of his pockets, and his guitar on his back.

How times change...

Sighing, Demy ducked into an alley across the street and down a ways from the bar. Here he'd be able to see his former home, while staying out of sight. Hrmph, who knew? Maybe if he got some sleep, he'd wake up to a worried Lou... Really, the bartender wouldn't kick him out for good...would he?

By morning this would all be cleared up, and the boy would be back in his warm bed. Yeah...

Night 4

...Lou wasn't coming.

Demy sat at the entrance to his alley, staring down the road at the busy bar he once called home. No...Lou wasn't coming. He had customers to attend to, things to do, things that didn't involve a disobedient little brat like himself.

He was on his own, again. One would think with how much he snuck out and wandered around that's what he really wanted, but that was -far- from the truth. Demy wanted a home, and a person to depend on no matter what the day threw at him...or what trouble he got into.

Clearly he wasn't going to find it here. With a heavy heart the boy climbed to his feet and trudged away into the shadows of the night.
"See ya Lou..."

Day 7

Goodbyes. They were always...uncomfortable. For some it was merely a word until they returned hours, maybe a few days later. For others it was something more meaningful, as they had no idea when or even -if- they'd return.

For Demy, it was a sign of giving up. He was lost, he knew it, and he didn't want to drag his friends into it. It hurt to admit it, it hurt to say it, but the thought of perhaps never seeing them again was the most painful of all. Still, it had to be done. They were doing just fine without him...he didn't need to drag them into his sea of despair.

Lali had been understanding. She saw he needed to go, but quickly showed her support and even handed over some keys. At the very least if he did wander back her way he'd be able to get inside.

Spence? ...Well he was Spence. He no doubt would miss his little friend...or something. Demy got the idea Spence was sad to see him go but simply didn't want to show it. Whatever...if he ever recovered enough to deserve his company again he'd go looking for him.

Day ???

Spinning spinning spinning...the whole world was spinning and there was no way to get off. Stoned out of his mind Demy simply lay on the pile of junk in an alley and watched it spin around him. Lost. Everything he ever cared about was lost. His band, his friends, Lou, even his guitar (sold for drug money). What the hell was he even here for anymore? ...Oh right, drugs. Those brief moments of bliss in between the overwhelming sorrow that had become his life. But even those were losing their touch. Thoughts warped to monsters, monsters that became -very- real when in a drug haze. Letting out a cry the boy curled up in his junkheap and tried to shut out the world.

Ah, but the world wasn't ready to be shut out. Creeping up like the night itself a creature sat and watched the pathetic heap of an Audio before it. If Demy had been with it he might have noticed the sudden lack of sound around them, or coming from his headphones...but alas, he wasn't.
"You think THOSE monsters are bad...you should see yourself."

"What...the hell?"
Uncurling from his ball, dazed eyes searched the darkness for what was speaking to him. Was...it another one of his monsters? Or was someone actually here? It was only after a few moments of frantic searching that Demy finally noticed the eerie silence around him. With a startled yelp he batted the headphones off of his head and tried to scramble to his paws.

"Wake up kid. You're a nobody, a sorry shell of something that was great...and you only have yourself to thank for that. So let's see about bringing to light what you've really become shall we?"
A laugh, it seemed to be coming from everywhere..and yet nowhere at the same time. The creature watched as the stark white Audio scrambled and trembled in the night, lost in the dark and the general flow of life. He wouldn't notice the subtle changes to his headphones, how they seemed to grow a bit larger, with a new tune playing. No, he wouldn't notice at all. It's work done the creature slipped off to a safer viewpoint.

"Get the hell out here, whatever you are! You stupid monsters don't scare me anymore!"
Ah but they did, scared to the point of tears even. He was so lost and no one was there to save him. Which...didn't seem to matter, because the voice was no longer talking to him. Even ten minutes later there was nothing..just the general noise of the city. Shaking, Demy crawled over to his headphones and put them back on.

All was well for a few seconds, but it didn't take long for a very sudden and overwhelming pain to strike the little blonde. Crying out, he squirmed on the ground and clawed at his own fur as his body changed. Bones shifted, grew, skin and fur ripped and grew, tatters of clothes ripped further as horns, wings, and a second tail appeared. A splitting headache was added to the pain his body was racked with. What the hell was going on?! That..had to be one VERY bad batch of drugs? Or had that voice had something to do with it...?

No time to think about it, Demy screamed and sobbed as the changes finished up. Fangs and claws grew, and eyes shifted into a much more feral look. When it was finally done the boy lay in a bloody mangled heap, sobbing to himself and doing his best to lay still to prevent any further pain.
