Sorry to burst bubbles, but yes, the tracklist is fake. Okay, maybe not entirely, but I see a lot of problems that seem to contradict the new Guitar Hero system with vocals and drums:

1. "Okay, SCREW that!" - Pulse of the Maggots by Slipknot is going to require 2 bass pedals. I only saw one on the 3D model on the GH website. If we only get one bass pedal to drum that song, we're all screwed. It's not the only song that's going to require 2 bass pedals, also.

2. "WTF!?" - Eat It by Weird Al Yankovic. 'Nuff said.

3. "Hey, what about us!?" - How exactly do boss battles work when playing with a band? Also, I'm pretty sure your character isn't going up against Dimebag Darrell for a guitar battle when you're playing drums in single player!

4. "We've been programming for HOURS!!!" - Okay, so I know what you're thinking. "They'll just tweak the other setlists to fit for vocals, bass, and drums!" Well, that is a good argument, but a lot of those songs are guitar specific. Not drum specific, bass specific, or even vocal specific. This means that they'll have to put in specific songs in each band part's single player mode, replacing others. If that is the case, I highly doubt we'll see GH4 on store shelves this year.

5. "What's wrong with our setlist?" - This was the thing that really did it in for me. I found it on Wikipedia:

"Four bands have been confirmed for the game from the Game Informer preview: Van Halen, The Eagles, Linkin Park, and Sublime. IGN's preview reported that Sublime's "Santeria", Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell", and Foo Fighters' "Everlong" were featured in the game. The Game Informer preview also suggests that Dream Theater may be included. Lenny Kravitz's "Are You Gonna Go My Way" was featured in the world premiere trailer and was confirmed as a playable song in a demonstration of the game at Wall Street Journal's D6 event. Blink 182's "Dammit" was featured in a video showcasing the game's drum set featuring former Blink-182 and current +44 drummer Travis Barker doing motion capture for the game. The video also featured Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith along with The Police drummer Stewart Copeland commenting on the performance of the prototype drum set."

Billy Idol and Sublime seem to be missing from the "possible tracklist." Also, the Foo Fighters and Blink-182 songs are different than what it says here. The only song correct is the one by Lenny Kravitz. Some of the artists from the "possible setlist" are here, however. Now, I realize that Wikipedia can be edited by anyone, but this article had many citations pointing to links, so I'm pretty sure it's all real.

Sorry guys, I had high hopes when I saw it too. Seeing "One Step Closer" nearly made me go crazy...then I did research, and noticed a lot of issues with it.

But, it's not all bad. I found this on Wikipedia as well...

"Unconfirmed sources suggest that the list below is the official lineup for the first three tiers. Due to what has already been revealed, this seems very authentic.

Tier 1 - The Garage

• "Santeria" by Sublime

• "Roxanne" by The Police

• "Orange Crush" by R.E.M.

• "Heartbreaker" by Pat Benetar

• "White Room" by Cream

• *ENCORE* "Perfect Situation" by Weezer

Tier 2 - The First Gig

• "Rebel Yell" by Billy Idol

• "Legs" by ZZ Top

• "Mind's Eye" by Wolfmother

• "Fool for the City" by Foghat

• "Push the Tempo" by Fatboy Slim

• *ENCORE* "Light My Fire" by The Doors

Tier 3 - The Opening Act

• "Slow Hands" by Interpol

• "Supermassive Black Hole" by Muse

• "Are You Gonna Go My Way" by Lenny Kravitz

• "Everlong" by The Foo Fighters

• "One Armed Scissor" by At The Drive-In

• *ENCORE* "Emergency" - By Paramore (Played with Paramore)"

Doesn't seem all bad...too bad it's not as epic.

I knew it was fake... probably because in the boss battles you play actual songs. The only battle you are suppossed to play an actual song in is Lou. And I don't suppose anyone's gotten recordings of the devil playing guitar. Also there were repeated bands and a Weird Al song. But hey, I don't care!! I'll have a blast making songs on GH4; I won't really even care WHAT the setlist is.

No kidding. We'll finally be able to recreate the "impossible song" without having to hack the game!

Look it up on YouTube. It makes "Through The Fire and Flames" look like a cupcake.
