Biography:
-Childhood
I was born in the island town of Altomare where I was separated from my parents by a large fire and was sent to Olivine City to live in a foster home. While doing particularly nothing at the Olivine harbor, I met a girl my age named Jasmine who in time helped me get a volunteer job at the local Pokemon center. There my love for Pokemon and knowledge of machinery grew. I would keep all the equipment in ship-shape. Jasmine and I grew up together and became best friends. When I was of age, I set out on a personal quest in search of my parents and my roots. I had told Jasmine and my Foster Parent that I was going to compete in the Pokemon League Silver Conference so they wouldn't stop me. I wanted to know who I was.
-Background at Team Aqua
If it was fate or out of mere coincidence, I'll never know. I traveled to Goldenrod City one day and ran into a girl who I only knew as Torchic094. She recruited me into Team Aqua and told me how much they travel and keep the bad guys in check. I found this perfect for me. I chose Mudkip as my starter and together we overcame many obstacles. Over time I built my team to where it is today. Along my travels with Aqua, I met a fugitive named Marty. We bonded and he became almost a father to me. We went our separate ways when he told me he had to leave for something I wasn't meant to know at the time.
Months passed at Aqua when a man who went under the name of Sharpedo22 sought me out for a joint-team operation. I left Aqua and became his right hand man in a mission to gather information on Team Tsunami and Team Magma. After time, we departed and I once again returned to my quest to find the truth of my parents. With my Pokemon, I went in search for Marty in hopes that he could help me in my journey to understanding my past.
My path would one day lead me back to Team Aqua and where I am today.
-A Little Bit About Myself as a Trainer
To make a hard explanation short, I guess you can call me the "Hippie" of the Team. The reason you see me only traveling with 7 pokemon can lead to the fact that I'm not the one to catch 200 different living creatures and making them live in pokeballs inside a PC for ages. sweatdrop I promise I'm not a Pokemon rights activist, though. I also guess it's due to the fact that I'm really not a registered Pokemon trainer. I have no access to the PC in the first place. The Pokemon League has no idea that I exist.
I also don't refer to my Pokemon as "my own" because we work as a team. They come and go from their pokeballs as they please, and each has their own personality. Fortunately, I've figured some of their egos so you don't have to. Ha.
Swampert was my starter Pokemon. He's been from my side since the beginning. Swampert's not the sharpest tool in the shed, but his heart's as big as Mt. Silver.
Scizor has always been the rude one of the bunch. He's never afraid to speak his mind and is always more than ready to duke it out with someone or something. His cleverness always seems to get him out of sticky situations. His ability is Technician and he holds an Amulet Coin.
Typhlosion would have to be the most courageous one of the bunch. It also came as a surprise to me when he was fed a rainbow block, Typhlosion's voice had a Hispanic accent to it. Never the less, Ty is never afraid of a challenge and is quite sneaky. It's a good thing he's well behaved.
Gengar can be just as bad as Scizor, although lately he has been doing some maturing. He still can submit to his ghostly mischievousness some times.
Lucario is defiantly the most loyal Pokemon and most serious on his training than any other I've ever seen. I rescued Luc from Team Magma's capture while working with Sharpedo22, and ever since then he's been most grateful and willing to be at my side. Luc's quite the deep thinker. His ability is Inner Focus and he holds a Fist Plate.
Lugia is the most enigmatic and serious partner of the bunch. Lugia is really smart and knows a lot about nature and the world in general. Like Lucario, Lugia is also a deep thinker, but unlike Lucario, Lugia likes to discuss current matters or anything that's going on.
To read Ike's capture of Lugia, Click Here! Please mind my poor grammar/spelling. Also, please note that Akagi is actually Cyrus. During these RPs, Galaxy was actually our ally. Akagi was his true name, but he changed his name when he took over Galaxy.
As for me, I tend to be more laid-back and like to joke around when nothing's going on. But when something is going on, I always put on a serious face and stay focused. I've been through my share of adventures, but no matter what, I always make sure to finish the mission and move on to tomorrow.
Forever I will be a wanderer. A traveler of the world with no relatives, no purpose. But I'm alright with that. If that means giving up a "normal life" for one full of adventure with friends and amazing creatures, I'll take it. What's normal, anyway?
I've gone by two other screen names back on NSider.
