 The sea seemed to be eeirely quiet as the taste of blood seemed linger around the water. The mer shark had just finished a fish meal and was laying on rock, trying to sleep off the meal. Neri was showed her more doclie that her vicious side...But her shark temper did come out if she was in danger or at meal time..ut meal time was over so she could be relax for a bit. It had been sometime since she last saw any mers around...They were so few in numbers after all.

Sakkah wrinkled his nose as he smelt the scent of blood lingering about the area he was roaming in. narrowing his eyes, it had been a great while since he had met any other mer soquili or even a kelp. snaping his teeth, he went on to find out exsactly what caused the blood scent and he was not above geting into a fight if the need arose.

Neri's ears flicked as she heard a faint sound. What was that? She let out a few bubbles as she yawned and swished her shark tail around her side. She wasn't worry. Her gray coat made her hard to spot on the rock bed. She simply just went back to enjoying the few sun rays that did mange to reach the depths.

Sakkah wrinkled his nose as he noticed no one at first. "eh guess nothing was around." grunting he turned around to leave. there wasnt must that interested him here so there wasnt much reason for him to stick around though if he had noticed Neri he would of spoken to her.

A voice. Neri ear flicked again, though she didn't look up to see who it was. She could tell it was a male though...A kelpi maybe..Or another mer?....Mabye a shark mer. Neri whinsed. The other sharks were the worst. The female began to move around a lot more, she was plotting her escape...But she wasn't paying any attention to her surroundings as her hove hit the rock she was on, making a loud noise the the silent sea.

Sakkah stopped in place when he heard the noise adn turned around. who was that? eyes narrowng he snorted and spoke. " who ever hiding come out. " after he spoke he then realized it was Neri bleding in too well with the rocks. " blah you and your ablity to hide in rocks neri."

"Huh?" The mare stop in her tracks, trying to figuer out who would know her name. The voice sounded a bit familar but different at the same time. She finally looked up to the orca male. "Sakkah?" He had gotten bigger than she remember him. She said swimming a little away from the rocks, making her grown self visible. "You've...Grown up since we last spoke." She smiled softly as she swam up to him.

"not surpised you have grown as well Neri and also seem to be doing quite well. i do hope no shark mer or real sharks for that matter been bothering you." grinning. he remeber when he last met her how she told him of a mer that looked like a shark had bitten her and isnt something someone would forget.

Neri laughed. "No run ins with any problems....Just facing the loneliness that comes with being a shark." Her tail swaded back an forth and she remained silent for a moment. "How does your sister fair?" She did remember how he had told her about having a twin sister.

" your only as lonely as you let yourself." Sakkah chuckled a bit then grinned. " my twin is doing well thanks for asking. it seems her and i never grown out of being protective of one another so things are same as ever." oh life was simi dull with the same routine but he didnt mind how his life was at the moment plus he ran into a friend from childhood so he was pleased.

Neri giggled and swished her tail around playfully. "You trying being a shark for a day then you can tell me how lonely I get to be." She laughed. "Sadly some of the other mer sharks have been attacking others so I've gotten a bad image. Mer's see me and turn tail. Ah well...Your here!" Seeing Sakkah again made it all worth while. She did a loop around the male and settled into tugging on his hair gentle. "Let's play!"

" i see your point...but your bound to fin someone besides me who will be friends with you." sakkah chuckled a bit as he watched her do a loop around him. " depends on what you want to play, since i dont often play games since adulthood." he was being truthful when he said he didnt play games often any more as he was an adult and felt games where left to foals though his twin did get him to play games sometimes.

The shark smiled and giggles. "I hope so..But your here now so that's all that matter right now." The female was now on her back looking at Sakkah. For an adult she still had much of her foal left in her. She thought for a moment, seeking her brain for the most adult like game before grinning and nosing Sakkah's cheek. "...You're it!" And with that the female sped off in the opposite direction of her friend, looking back to see if he was going to follow her or not.

" your silly as ever." chuckling, as he watched her it had been so long since he seen her that he was rather glad he ran into an old friend. when she came over and nosed his cheek, he got all flustered. " whaaa...HEEEEY NOT FAIR!" chaseing after her, he had been really caught off guard cause he didnt think he needed to be careful around her.

Neri laughed and sped off towards a near by coral reef. It was a play Neri like to come to for the colours and the beauty. It made her wonder if the land above the waves were as pretty...She'd have to as Atum later.
"You'll never catch me slow poke!" She giggled and darted behind a coral filled rock.
