If you want the realistic look, you need to have more value on the skin and other areas. Cause if you squint, or have the brightness on your monitor super low like me, you can't see the nose or the lips. So I'd jsut go and add more shading to bring out the face more. Unless you like that style.
But I like it xD It's smexy.

I'm gonna assume this is a work in progress since (obviously) it has no hair or right eye. First off, I suggest having some hint of another eye (even if it's going to be covered by hair) like dark shading or something. And yes, the mouth seems a little too long. Although, I don't think it's too bad since many people tend to have a similar mouth shape. For the hair, I don't know if you wanted help with an actual style or with how to do it exactly. I don't know your resources (tablet, photoshop etc.) but I will assume you've got some form of photoshop or something. This is a "realism" tutorial. The last half has a technique for hair that I thought might be useful: http://yumix.deviantart.com/art/REALISM-TUTORIAL-51879250 I also suggest checking out Orioto's tutorial on dA if that one doesn't help ( http://orioto.deviantart.com/art/Realistic-Hair-Tuto-51879661 ). I agree about the shading thing, but I'd like to extend it to shading the clothes (although you were probably gonna do that but are just not there yet), unless that's the style you want because I've seen people do that before with no shading and such (but usually that technique is carried throughout the entire picture). Anyway, it's pretty darn good so I don't have too much to say on it. And trust me, this is not a lot coming from me. sweatdrop I just talk a lot. rofl Anyway, REEEEALLY good job so far! Good luck on the hair and don't forget to post it when you're done 'cause i wanna see the completed version! 3nodding
