Background: Growing up in Sootopolis, Saedi was allowed the chance to meet a good many of people on their way to see the Cave of Origin. With them, they brought wonderful stories of far away places and pokemon. For a long time, she knew just what she wanted to do but her parents forbade her to have a pokemon of her own.
That was until one day down at the docks, she hooked a Dratini and was gifted a pokeball by a passing old man. With that ball, she caught the pokemon and her journey started. She raised the dratini in secret for a while, before finally she let her parents in on her secret. Of course her parents were pissed, but after a few hours discussion, she'd earned her way out of Sootopolis and her first stop was Katarina.
