I don't think Alcohol could effect them but I never really thought about it.

im ganna go with a no, cause if you read on the twilight web site when SM was on the set for the Twilight movie and they played a prank on her she mentioned how when Vampires do eat they just have to cough it back up. So i think they would have to do the same with liquids.

I never really gave it much thought. If it were possible for the Twilight vampires to get drunk I'd be afraid to let Alice with in a hundred miles of alcohol. She insane enough as it is but that's why I love her.

No. If you think about it hard enough, it's an absolute no. It wouldn't effect their system at all.

First of all I think Alice is sorta permanently drunk haha
Second, no I don't think it'd effect them since it can't get into their system the way it does with humans,
Third - do you think there IS a way they can get drunk, or hyper the way we do? But a hyper Alice....I don't think the world is ready for that

No, they definately can't get drunk. The only slight way they can get like..intoxicated, is probably when they smell a very appealing scent. Such as the first day Edward "met" Bella...cause they didn't really meet. You know? And probably the fixation of when they're really thirsty..and hunting. Cause Edward mentioned that they kind of lose control of their body when hunting...? Haha. That's probably as "intoxicated" as they can get.

yeah probably couldn't get drunk.
might be interesting if they could though. i have a hard time picturing Edward drunk, but i could definatly see Alice and maybe Emmet. The would is sooo not ready for Drunk Alice, heck most of the world isn't even ready for normal Alice. lol

Well, in Twilight, Edward didn't drink his soda - he gave it to Bella. Which brings me to think that he doesn't drink any other liquid except blood.
