It was raining, lightning dancing across the sky. Although the rain was calming and reassuring Azzan did not want to stay in the chilling wind. Getting up slowly from his place of rest in an open field, Azzan set off to find some shelter. The rain drops soothed his thoughts as they splash against his face and dampened his fur and mane as he trudged on.

Raina trudged through the waters, her face down to shield her eyes from the waters. She was alone again, traveling as she always had. She snorted roughly her breath fogging the air in front of her. The silver mare sought out shelter now.

A snort caught the attention of Azzan, and curious as he was he could not help but follow the sound. He walked for some time, often looping back when he thought he had gone too far. It wasn't imposable to see in the storm, but never the less it was not as good as seeing in pure Daylight. "Hello?" Azzan finally called. "Is anyone there?"

Raina's head raised at the sound of another, ears perked up as she whickered in return. Her pale yellow face searching for the voice, she hated knowing someone was their but not being able to see them. As her eyes narrowed, she saw a pale white figure with stripes of that of what she had heard called a zebra. She walked closer but kept her distance. "Hello." she called back. She lowered her face again to shield the rain. She didn't fear it like her mother, she just hated it.

Azzan's head snapped around as the soft sound of a mare's 'Hello' reached his ears. He searched in the gloom for the owner of the voice, his search narrowed now by the direction the greeting had come from. After a second look his eyes focused on patches of yellow floating in the gray of the rain. At last he ad found what he had looked so hard for. With a grin on his face despite the dreariness of his surroundings he made his way over to the mare.
The closer Azzan got the clearer the mare's form came to be. Soon he could see her clearly, as if it wasn't raining at all. "Hello," Azzan called out cheerfully before his smile dropped to a frown. "My, you look miserable." He hadn't meant to sound rude, but it was quite obvious from how she held her head low to shield her face that the mare wasn't enjoying herself.

She watched as the male came toward her with a bit of enthusiasm...how odd, in this type of weather. Her eyes focused in on him and she was enthralled with his eyes, so light yet they held something darker. Kind of like herself. Her lavendars looked once more as her ears flickered listening hard to what he was saying, the rain made it hard to here. "Hi," she replied, "and only little." she added with a slight chuckle of amusement. "Lookin' for sheltar, this is wearin me out...you?
She hoped she could find something suitable that would keep her out of this godforsaken mess that she had gotten herself into. She had just came from the beach to this, lovely weather. She sighed softly.

"Looking for the same thing. I dont mind the rain, but the wind is getting to me..." Azzan replied to the mare. He stepped closed and tried to hold his head over hers for the time being. He didnt like the idea of being within reach of the mare and her horn, not knowing yet if she would be a friend or foe, but since he didn't mind the rain and she did he figured for at least a few moments he could keep the rain out of her face. "Do you know this area?" He asked her hopefully. He didn't, but if she did shelter would be easier to find.

"Yes," she replied with thought. She looked around for a moment as he kept the rain from her face. "That way, there is a hollow cavern just under that hill, if I remember correctly." she frowned for a moment. "No harm in looking," she refrained from moving her head up, due to her sharpened extension. "Thanks," she replied. If it weren't as cold and windy, perhaps she might've blushed.
