Let me see.... whee I'm your Portuguese teacher (yey!) and I'm a native person (I'm brazilian); so, for now, I just wanna know who wants some Portuguese lessons and if you want to learn something SPECIFIC.
About Brazil and me (more?? O.o): this is a poor country (oh my.... xp ), but we have a hot clime (now it's cold >.< -->winter) and many good things like Unicamp (university), Samba (a dance), Caipirinha (a drink XD) and many other things that maybe you don't know^^'. Maybe you have heard about Rio de Janeiro and another beach. Well, I don't live in a place that have beach, but I live in a big city near São Paulo... I already went to Santos (it was rainning u.u) XD
Well, I'll present you some things in Portuguese in another message XD
IF YOU WANT TO TRY THIS LANGUAGE, I'LL PRESENT IT TO YOU WITH PLEASURE^^ JUST PM ME FIRST. I THINK THAT IS MORE IMPORTANT TO LEARN THE "DAY-BY-DAY" THINGS, BUT IF YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE THAN THIS, THAT'S FINE TOO blaugh
Now that I'm on vacation, I have much more time to teach, but, generally, I have Fridays and Saturdays.

Ok, the incredible verb TO BE in Portuguese:
To Be
I am You are He is She is It is We are You are They are
Ok, this is easy for you, right? But for those who knows Spanish, Portuguese will be easier than that who don't know, 'cause we have a simple word with many means u.u..
Ser
Eu sou Tu és Ele é Nós somos Vós sois Eles são
NOTE: Generally we use "VOCÊ" (INFORMAL WAY) and not "TU" (FORMAL WAY), but, we say: VOCÊ É and not VOCÊ ÉS, this' completelly wrong!!!!!! xp And, in South (Santa Catarina, for example), people generally use "TU" sweatdrop .... This is a kind of dialecti.....maybe^^"
