Flying was wonderful. It was rather unbelievable that he'd had such a difficult time of it only a few weeks previously. Well, it was closer to being nearly a month now...He missed Mocha. The golden stallion sighed softly, a wistful/dreamy look settling on his face when he thought of the cream and white mare. His teepee mate Dark had started teasing Indu almost relentlessly every since Indu had stumbled home late that night. After all, it hadn't taken the violet haired thief long to figure out Indu was smitten, even as Indu was oblivious to his own feelings at first. Thankfully the thief was off chasing his own problems often enough so Indu didn't have to constantly deal with his teasing. Though it had been a rather startling kick in the tail for the golden stallion. This tight, almost giddy feeling he had whenever he thought about Mocha was love? Now he could understand why everyone made such a big deal about it. It made him feel like he was flying. But without the danger of airborne collisions.
Speaking of collisions, so caught up in his musings as he was, Indu nearly crashed into the trees he was gliding over. Curving his wings sharply, he managed to twist enough to avoid the high reaching branches, wings pumping hard to get him up higher in the air where he was in less danger of another possible collision. But the stallion was tiring. Not surprising seeing as he'd been airborne for at least an hour now, trying to get stronger every time he took to the air. After all, he wanted to show Mocha how much he'd improved the next time they met...And maybe beat her in another race.
Garnet eyes scanned the dense green canopy for a gap he could glide through and land in. That was another thing he'd gotten better at, dodging tree branches during a landing. His father hadn't been amused when Indu had come limping home after a failed landing through the trees a few weeks ago. Indu was more careful after that.
