Field Information
This battle shall take place in some nearby woods around the city of Katarina. The trees grow thick which means maneuverability is relatively difficult, unless of course they're knocked down to make room. In the center of these woods is a large pond with a waterfall and numerous large rocks.

Lenne, stretching out her arms above her head, was walking through the forest after getting her supplies in the city right next to her Cubone, Clementine, who was getting some healthy exercise after being trapped in her pokeball for hours on end. Deciding on a place to stop, Lenne found a large rock for her and Clementine to sit on, while they enjoyed a small meal.
"Clemmy, what should we eat?" Lenne asked, looking at her Cubone.
"Cubone!" Replied Clementine. "Oh, right... you can't talk. Uhm, how does a fruit salad sound? I saw some berries back there, want to go pick them?"
Clementine, listening to her trainer's words, got up to go get the berries.

Isamu had been wandering around the forest, still plagued by his thoughts. He didn't want to keep thinking he had grown weaker, but all signs pointed to the inevitable. This just can't be, he thought, trudging around, bearing his teeth out of shear anger, There's got to be a way..
He looked around as if searching for something in these woods to give him an answer, but all he spied was a measely cubone. Hrm, maybe if.. He knew what he had to do to reclaim his throne; he bolted towards the cubone, his long horn glowing, ready to attack.

Clementine, hearing the Absol running towards her got out of the way in time to avoid it.
"What the...?"
Clementine was obviously confused as to why a random pokemon would just attack her all of a sudden.
"What's your deal, Absol?" Clementine wasn't going to put up with being attacked so out of the blue like that, so she ran towards him and tried a Focus Punch attack.

The elder pokémon dodged the cubone's attack with ease, jumping back away from her. "(Be quiet and stay still!)" The sphere from his mouth suddenly turned a blue-ish white, small snowflakes falling from it. The sphere quickly turned into an ice beam attack, headed straight towards Clementine.

Clementine rolled to the side, avoiding most of the ice beam attack, letting only a small portion of it hit her leg as she rolled.
"Agh, what's your deal?" Clementine wasn't too pleased with this random attack.
Clementine defended herself with her own ice-beam attack, aiming to freeze.

Isamu quickly jumped away from Clementine's attack, pausing on the rocks near the stream. He snickered as he watched her confused expression, "(You will help me be stronger whether you want to or not!)"
He then leapt into the air, falling back into the water behind him. It was a while before he resurfaced, but he attacked the cubone once more, using his shadow ball strategy to send a water pulse attack hurling towards his opponent.
(Super Effective + 50)

Clementine managed to avoid the water pulse attack, jumping behind a tree as it came at her.
"I'm not going to deal with this." Clementine rushed out from behind her tree and once more tried to freeze the absol in his tracks with an ice-beam attack.

He kept still, hoping he could withstand the attack through the numerous years he braved Inhinx's harsh, cold weather. Unfortunately the stream around him couldn't take the cold as well as him and froze him in the water.

Clementine managed to work her way into a better chance of winning this fight. "Alright..." she thought, "Now what?"
After careful decision Clementine thought it best to just attack straight out, obviously with him frozen he couldn't do anything.
Clementine clenched her fist and ran forward, charging the absol with a Focus Punch attack.

Isamu's muzzle was suddenly thrust to the side, without any defense Clementine had hit her mark: right over the scar on his left cheek. He snarled as he kept still; he knew he could take a few hits, after all, this pokémon wasn't even as strong as he.

Clementine felt that she had a lovely advantage at the moment, and wanted to milk it for all it was worth, however, she had to be smart about it.
"Uhm... what now?..." Clementine wasn't used to battling without Lenne around to help her.
Finally Clementine decided to use the absol's frozen status to her advantage and lower his attack.
She Growled at him, as fiercely as she could.

"Ab.." he snarled back, his body struggling against the ice. I'll get you soon, just you wait till I get out of this ice! He could feel the ice slowly turning back to water, his neck now free to move as he wriggled fiercely towards the cubone.

Clementine was once again unsure of what to do next... "Think... what would Lenne do?"
"Ahah! Let's try this" she thought to herself.
Clementine ran forward toward one of the boulders right before the waters edge and shattered it, sending the pieces toward the Absol. "Rock Smash" She thought, that'll work.
