((So just an extension of the festival to not interrupt other rps, festival games, vendors etc. yey!))
The sun was exceedingly warm, almost uncomfortably so, in Nyght's humble opinion. Her left wrist brushed her forehead to relieve the moisture beading at her hairline. Nyght had decided to actually enter the center of such a busy place as the Summer Festival in order to get more supplies and possibly see some interesting Pokemon. There was always a hope that some collector had decided to visit and show off his rare Pokemon. That and the food was better in the festival than trail rations.
The colorful booths that she had already walked past had failed to hold her attention, but one coming up on her left seemed to have more hope than previous contenders. Sporting flashy pictures of Pokemon Nyght had never seen before, it seemed to be advertising simply that, art of beautiful and amazing Pokemon. Nyght crossed the last few feet to place herself directly in front of the stand, flashing a friendly but not terribly interesting smile to the shop keeper. She had no room in her backpack for, nor the money to spend on, flashy images of the Pokemon she wished one day to see. It was simply interesting to examine what her future could possibly hold. Unfortunately for Nyght, her browsing was rudely interrupted by a loud noise and a sudden physical contact at her side. "What the-"

Lenne came crashing through the booth area, after tripping on a loose rock. "Agh, again? I really need to keep my balance... You okay Clemmy?" Lenne said, looking at her small Cubone who was trailing behind her, only catching up after she fell.
"Cubone!" Clementine said proudly, trying to help Lenne up.
"Oh, I'm sorry miss! I didn't mean to run into you. I tend to trip a lot..." Lenne managed to get back onto her feet, dusting off her shirt as she did so. "Agh... all my stuff fell out of my bag?!..." Angry, Lenne bent down to start putting her things back into her tote. Lifting each object into it's proper area of the bag. Clementine helped grab a few stray items as well, then stood back by her side, staring at the girl Lenne ran into.

"Ahh!" Nyght was fortunately able to recover from the hit without falling, but she was a bit confused about what exactly had happened to her. The voice of a girl cut through her confusion, however, when she identified her as the source of incident. She appeared to be talking to someone other than Nyght, though, which Nyght found a bit annoying, until she realized that it was in fact a Cubone which she was talking to! This was why Nyght came to these festivals, because those people who did have Pokemon tended to come as well. The excitement was even more validated when the Cubone spoke, which Nyght was just always fascinated by. Nyght's assessment of the Cubone, however, was interrupted by the apology of the owner.
"Oh, it's fine, really, easy to trip with all this chaos." Nyght nodded to her, and then knelt to help the girl pick up her things, gathering them into easy reach for her, since she seemed particular about where they went in her pack. Nyght could feel the Pokemon's gaze on her, which she felt a bit guilty about since she had been staring at it earlier... "I'm Nyght by the way." She may as well try to make friends with humans, and besides, meeting other Pokemon enthusiasts could help her sometimes.

Lenne finally managed to get all the items back into her bag in the proper locations and stood up, putting the bag over her left shoulder. She then took a good look at the girl she had ran into, and laughed to herself. Her lack of fashion was apparent, and she didn't seem to have any pokemon. "...Erm, I'm Lenne..." She said, she wasn't big on being friendly to people she thought couldn't "compete" with her.
Clementine looked back at Lenne and tugged on her leggings, pointing to one of the pictures the booth had. It was a picture of her mother, holding her prize-winning eevee.
"Ah! Mother, ahaha. I should buy this for her... But oh, where would I put it?" Lenne looked into her bag, there was no room there at all. "Oh well, I'll take a picture of it instead. That'll be funny to send to her..." Lenne looked back at the girl standing in front of her. "So, where're you from?" She asked, once again returning to her clothing style. (Sorry if she's rude. xD; That's just her personality.)

((No problem, these two might end up fighting though xD ))
Nyght forced a smile to the girl, nodding once more, almost awkwardly. This is why she tended to avoid social situations.... She just didn't know what to do in them. "Nice to meet you I suppose...." She trailed off, not exactly meaning to be rude, but not caring to cover up her confusion at Lenne's choice of tone. The Cubone's actions caught Nyght's eye, though, and she looked at one of the photos with a woman and an Eevee. Nyght was quite fascinated by Eevees, they had such strange evolution tendencies. They were a species her mother had always talked about studying.
Then Lenne actually spoke to her again. This action surprised Nyght enough to have her pause a moment before responding. "Oh, uh, I was born in WhiteRapid City, but I mostly grew up in surrounding research stations. My parents are both Pokemon Researchers, you see. It was pretty cool actually, saw all kinds of weird Pokemon in the wild." Nyght nodded, happy at a question that she could actually answer well. Her parents had the coolest job in Nyght's opinion. Almost offhandedly she remembered she should ask Lenne the same, "How about you? Where are you from?" For some reason Lenne seemed to be looking at something on Nyght instead of at her face, but maybe Nyght was just imagining it, "What? Is there something on me or something?" She might as well ask after all, right?

Clementine once again gazed upon the girl standing in front of Lenne, tuning into the conversation.
"Uhm, you tell me if there's something on you or not..." Lenne said casually, obviously referring to the way she was dressed. "Oh, and I'm from Hearthome City. I came her by ship to try and get some rare pokemon for the Super Contests. My mother is one of the most famous winners, and I'm following in her footsteps." Lenne brushed off, with a sort of conceited attitude, as if she was some star herself.
Clementine sort of responded to Lenne's words with a backing, standing strong to defend her trainer's words. She knew deep down Lenne was kind-hearted, but only to those that could prove they were worth her time.
"Why would you want to research pokemon...? I mean, why not just catch them and research them then?" It made no sense to Lenne as to why people would bother simply watching the pokemon, they still had their own personalities, even when caught.

Nyght tilted her head and furrowed her brow at the girl's pointless response. "Fine, don't answer then..." Shaking her head, Nyght looked back up at her when she told about her home. It was an interesting story, even if it was delivered a bit oddly.... "Wow, the rare Pokemon part is cool, but I've never understood Pokemon Contests, I find it much more interesting to study and battle with them, you know?" Nyght really didn't have any people skills.
"Why wouldn't you want to research pokemon! I mean, catching them is great sometimes, and we certainly did have some captured pokemon around as friends and pets. But sometimes for research you need to see how they act in the wild, without an owner to guide them. Nyght kicked a pebble by her foot, this conversation was one of the most awkward she had had, it was strange in many ways, one being that this girl was acting so oddly unfriendly. That was not something Nyght was used to, seeing as the few people she had met had been either blatantly unfriendly and best to avoid, or not. This strange in-betweenness of city people wasn't something Nyght had any experience dealing with, which was probably why she was doing so poorly.

"The contests are so entertaining though, you can see the beauty of the pokemon, and their moves. Instead of watching them with binoculars all day long..." Lenne turned her headphones up, listening to one of her favorite songs.
Clementine, hearing the song, reacted as she normally would when it played, and posed. As if she were preparing for a contest.
"Ahah, perfect play-out Clemmy. You're getting better. See, contests just make everything more fun, plus you can actually win if you're good enough." Lenne said that last part a little quieter and faster than the rest of the sentence. Lenne didn't know what to say anymore, things had become a bit too awkward for her to just stand there anymore. "Erm, well sorry for bumping into you." She said, hoping the girl would catch on that she was trying to leave.

Nyght nodded, considering what Lenne said, "Well I guess it would be a great opportunity to see rare pokemon up close, though they wouldn't be in their natural habitat, it would still be marvelous opportunity to examine their captive behaviors." Nyght unfortunately didn't notice Lenne turning up her headphones, and continued talking even though the girl wasn't listening. She was rather surprised when the Cubone posed, and it was a behavior she hadn't seen before, having not been to any beauty contests, "Oh my, what an interesting reaction to our conversation." Nyght bent done in her observational pose, staying rather still and watching the Cubone, transfixed.
Lenne's voice pulled her out of her near trance though, and she stood again, nodding as the girl spoke, though not paying near as much attention as she had. Nyght was much more interested in the Cubone, "Does your Cubone normally behave that way?" Nyght was of course referring to what Lenne had dubbed a 'play-out', but she didn't know that terminology.
Lenne's apology was, in Nyght's opinion, not necessary, "Oh, don't worry about it, I really didn't even notice. I think you had more harm than me, since you spilled everything after all...." Nyght of course didn't get the hint, she was waiting for the girl to answer her question about the Cubone.

Lenne was about to walk away and leave until Clementine, sensing the girl was looking at her, looked back up at her, then tugged on Lenne's side, insisting she needed to look at this girl that was awkwardly staring at her.
"Erm... Oh...!" Lenne looked up at the girl then, remembering what the girl had said, Lenne responded "She responds to music, or at least, my music. I sort of trained her that way, it's easier for the contests. We still need some work though..."
Lenne bent down to pet Clementine, and scratched her back. "She's smart though, and listens well. Very acute sense of hearing."

Nyght was delighted when the Cubone took interest in her as well, though she hoped she hadn't scared it. Nyght only half-listened to Lenne, though it was interesting that she had trained her Cubone to respond to music. Mostly pokemon were trained to respond to verbal commands, but if that's what worked for Lenne, then so be it.
"She's beautiful, do you only use a particular kind of music? Why is it only yours she responds to, do you know?" Nyght had her researcher's hat on, and she wanted to find out all she could about this Cubone's behavior. Perhaps she would focus on them as a research project at some point.

Lenne was taken aback a bit by the onslaught of questions this girl was asking her. She wasn't a specimen, and didn't want to be treated as so, and neither was Clementine.
"Uhm... She listens to my music because it's what I've had her listen to while training...?" Lenne wasn't too sure of what to say to this girl.
Clementine now moved so she was hiding behind Lenne's legs as she was talking. She hated being stared at as if she was doing something wrong. She only liked when people stared at her performing.
Lenne patted Clementine before her, to let her know that she felt the same way.

"Oh, okay, that makes sense." Nyght could tell the Cubone was uncomfortable, and this is why she preferred watching pokemon in the wild, when they didn't know you were watching and so acted naturally. Nyght was looking at Lenne again, nodding in the conversation. "Well, it was nice to meet you both, and I hope that you can stay on your feet in the future." Nyght smiled, she was trying to be nice and friendly, but it was obvious she was a bit disappointed that the Cubone wasn't more outgoing. But every pokemon had their own personality and that was just the way it was. If this Cubone was overly shy, then that was something Nyght would have to accept with an objective and scientific mind. It was interesting since she had always gotten the impression from reading that Cubones tended to be more aggressive than shy.
There was always exceptions though. Nyght nodded once more, a stray glance falling on the Cubone once more, and a smile lighting her face, trying to reassure the poor creature.

Clementine peered out from behind Lenne's legs looking up at the girl once more, seeing her smiling. Clementine was still a tad uncomfortable being watched by her, so Clementine needed to keep an eye on her as well.
"Erm, alright then?" Stay on their feet in the future? Lenne was a tad confused at the way Nyght had worded her sentence, but thankfully she realized they wanted to leave. "Goodluck with your watching...? Or whatever it is you do."
Clementine, realizing that they were going to depart, bowed, then tugged on Lenne's hand to move forward. It seemed a shop ahead had caught her interest, with club-shaped toys.
"Ahaha" Lenne laughed when she realized what Clementine was after and decided it would be best to do what Clementine wanted for once. "Alright then, bye...?" She said to the girl, as she started to move forward with Clementine's tugging.

Nyght nodded to Lenne, "Thanks, researching is what it is normally called...." She thought about wishing Lenne luck with her contests, but decided that she didn't really want to and the girl didn't seem to care either way. The shop that the pair was heading too looked cute, and it made Nyght chuckle under her breath, but she just wanted to be out of this setting. This is why she didn't like to talk to people, too much brain power just to deduce what you were supposed to say.
Nyght waved to Lenne's back, "Bye."
