This is the clan house, the central ruler seat, of one of the oldest members of the 13 Protection Squads. It is a manor house that has been added to over the centuries and built upon. The nobles of this house can trace their lineage back to previous to the Gotei 13.
The warriors and guards of this family are the soldiers of the Stealth Force and the members who go on to be part of the Recon squads.

Hitsugaya walked around th empty house. He could smell a faint oder of stale air and his face cringed. "Aisu Kage-bunshin!" He summoned 20 ice clones and ordered them to open all th window and doors. A fresh breeze of summer air came into the building purifying the air. He smiled but saw that the floors were a little dusty. "This place needs a caretaker." He said sorely. "I might as well clean it!" Hitsugaya summoned fifty more clones taking a large chunk out of his reiatsu. He ran out of the building with several clones and went to go get brooms for everyone. He came back and he and his clones handed the others brooms. THey swept the floors until it was spotless. After that, he got some wax and made the ice clones wax the floor. THe task took over 2 hours to complete. He looked outside of the house satisfied at the newly refurbished house. "We just need some furniture!" Hitsugaya hit the ground and fell fast asleep.

Kurai stole quietly into the old mansion's large foyer. Her sightless eyes moved across the wide room. As she cast her senses about the house, she tried to will a memory to surface. Even a brief glimpse of something from this house. Something to prove that she really was a Shihouin.
But she could find nothing. Not even the most meaningless memory of a sound or feeling. She had simply been too young when she was taken away.
Something felt odd about the empty manor. For a building that had so long stood vacant, the place seemed too clean and fresh. Several windows were open, and the air was only slightly stale. And there was something else. Some smell that lingered under the fresh air gusting through the windows.
Ice. The cold, watery tang burned her nose. She could hear the feint song of ice crystals spread across the floor. A heavier, muffled sound alerted her to the presence of someone within the house.
Approaching cautiously, Kurai found a young man, sleeping in the middle of the floor. From his robes, she gathered he was a shinigami, though what business he had in the Shihouin manor she did not know.
"What are you doing in my house?" Kurai asked quietly. She might have been speaking to herself.

Hayashi sighed, "sorry" Hayashi said walking out from a shadow, "I just wanted to see how you were doing since our last in counter" Hayashi said with a smile, Kurai probably didn't recognize Hayashi considered his hair had changed to the opposite color. Hayashi had considered Kurai a good friend ever since they met in squad 4 and liked to check up on those he considered a friend

"Hayashi," Kurai didn't turn, but she knew the reiatsu. Physically, he seemed different. His hair, in particular sounded different. A different shade, she decided.
"You look different," Kurai took her sightless gaze from the shinigami sleeping on the foor and glanced over her shoulder. She caught Hayashi's eyes with the same unnerving frosted gold.

Hayashi rubbed the back of his neck as his ocean blue eyes looked at her, "Yeah I know, It's my vice captain badge isn't it" Hayashi said joking around with Kurai, "So how have ya been?" Hayashi said looking at Kurai. Hayashi had missed his friend she seemed to disappear after he left squad 2 which was understandable considering how Kurai practically lived in squad 2 for a while, Hayashi smile as he looked at Kurai, Hayashi never really acted like she was blind because to him Kurai was normal, she didn't seem to have a disability so Hayashi never seemed to notice she actually had one

"Must be that badge," Kurai bantered easily. She was comfortable around Hayashi. He treated her normally. Not with pity for her blindness or shock at her carbon-copy resemblance to Yoruichi.
"It's been a while, hasn't it," She continued. "A while since getting into a fight with Oath... I'm training with Kazi, now. It's different, but I like it. And I get to be with the rest of the Shihouins...What have you been up to, since then?"

Hayashi shrugged, "Compared to that not much" Hayashi said chuckling, Hayashi had in fact done a lot but in his opinion it wasn't anything special. Hayashi smiled as he looked at Kurai, "So glad you can be with the rest of your family" Hayashi said with another smile as he looked at Kurai, it was surprising to him how he was litterally a copy of yoruichi. Though Hayashi didn't show it, he was surprised and often forgot how similar they looked

"That can't be true," Kurai flashed a crooked smiled. It only strengthened her resemblance to a younger version of Yoruichi. "You got lieutenant. That doesn't count as 'not much'."

Hayashi shrugged, "Eh, It's an even though not that important one" Hayashi said chuckling as he looked at Kurai, "your life is probably much more exciting than mine, considering your a noble" Hayashi said doing a fake bow as to tease her playfully

Kurai laughed, swatting at Hayashi as he bowed. "Stop it. I'm barely a noble. If Yomiko wasn't Tenshi Heisoban, I wouldn't even be accepted as a Shihouin. You might imagine I cause a bit of a commotion around the others,"
She wrinkled her nose at her choice of words. "No, I take that back," she grinned. "I am a commotion,"

Hayashi chuckled, "Well your a noble in my eyes" Hayashi said as he did another teasing bow, "Me, I'm just some ex human shinigami" Hayashi said chuckling as he looked at Kurai, "So what is there to do around this squad?" Hayashi said kind of bored

"Oh, I don't know...spar, practice...chase squatters out of an old clan house?" She joked, nudging the sleeping Hitsugaya with a toe. She really was wondering what this icy shinigami was doing sleeping in the middle of the house. Her house. Sort of.

Hayashi chuckled, "Awesome, though unfortunately I must go" Hayashi said sighing, "I will visit you again" Hayashi said as he turned and walked off raising a hand up showing he was saying goodbye

"Bye," Kurai wave back. She returned to appraising the "squatter." She debated whether to wake him forcibly, but decided against it.
Instead, she sat against the wall, blending into the shadow, eyes flashing a muted gold in the dark.
