I know you guys aren't doctors, I know I should see one. But the healthcare system here is stupid so I avoid it at all costs. So I was kind of hoping you guys could help me out. My stomach has been really bothering me, since about Saturday. I was feeling horrible, like my stomach was ripping itself apart, once I threw up, I felt much better. But it was back Monday. Worst pain of my life all morning, felt bad all day. Tuesday I was ok, Wednesday my stomach was bugging me again and has been since. I haven't been sleeping, I haven't been eating. I'm so tired. My aunt is a nurse, she told me to get some Charcoal pills so I did, the guy at the Health Tree said I should get some Acidopholis(sp) pills. I started the charcoal (I kinda trust a nurse over a store clerk) but I wanna know if you guys have any suggestions.
Oh ya, forgot to mention, this is not for the faint of heart, this is kinna personal, but, I guess I should tell you if you're gonna help.
I been fartin and having dhiarea redface

Did you eat anything funny? Sounds like your body took something in that it really didn't like, and is trying it's darndest to get it out. Acidophilus is friendly bacteria (like yogurt) and will help keep the good flora in your gut happy.
I get upset tummies every now and then, but it usually only lasts a few days. Yours has almost been a week now. You should see a doctor to fix you up. If you're expelling stuff left right and centre, you're losing nutrients, and we wouldn't want you to dehydrate on us. neutral

Pirhan's right, don't mess around with this any more. Dehydration can kill someone pretty quickly. I'm not too crazy about mainstream medicine either but it has its place----see a doctor.

The pain + diarrhea + vomiting has me thinking of food poisoning. If you ate any seafood/meat on saturday, or even friday night, that was outside your ordinary routine, that could be the cause.
Sometimes you can ride it out, but food poisoning can make you seriously ill or even kill.
The best I would offer, outside of a doctor's treatment, would be to rest and make sure to keep well hydrated. Drink plenty of water and maybe try a calming tea like chamomile and ginger tea is good for stomach problems (usually nausea but it works as a general stomach aide)
Let us know how things go.

Maybe something I ate was bad, but it was nothing new.

I have been drinking lots of water. I was a lifeguard for three years and I learned about dehydration the hard way before becoming one. I know all about dehydration and how dangerous it can be. Even though I was the one that was sick, during our car wash for charity (work related) I was telling everyone to drink water and getting them bottles and they thought I was being a**l, but 2 of my coworkers confirmed they felt sick later that day.

My aunt seemed to think it might be food poisoning, which is why she suggested charcoal pills. So far (knocks on wood) they've been working. Well, I've been sleeping, been able to eat, and my stomach hasn't been hurting me, since I started taking those pills, so I'm guessing it's because of them and will keep taking them at least for another day to be on the safe side.
