A hunter, brave, strong, powerful, ace with his bow, crumpled under a mass, his body broken, limping, face gashed one eye swollen completely shut, he stumbled up to the central square and collapsed, the last line of defence in to the port of anthros was a great forest, filled with hunters and archers, known world wide for their skills with a bow and arrow. This one, had obviously been caught close at claw. "I saw them." he whispers rolling on to his back "mean beasts, LIZARDS! I saw them, so many, strong creatures!"
He flails his eyes going wide pointing wildly up the main street of the port of anthros. The great wooden gate, open to visitors as always, it had stood for a hundred thousand years, some said it was magical, it had never been broken down once closed. There on the creast of the hill, that surrounded the main port, the trees peerd over the top of it and there stood the towering beast, a shadow in the darkness but his sillouette was clear. A voice broke the silence a cry for war.

A peasent walks through the streets, he carries a bag on his back filled with rolled up scrolls, he pulls one out and nails it to a building, upon closer inspection the message reads ::
Your Port needs you!
The port is under threat we need all able men to sign up in town square. You will be provided with weapons and supplies and sent out to fight this feind!
Thank you all We the government of The Port Of Anthros, hope, you will help.

In the town square a table sits, the physician of the area sits behind it with a helm placed, rather squwiff upon his head. He smiles at you and nods "Greetings friend are you here to sign up? We need all the help we can get before these savages decide to launch an attack upon us! His brow creases and he holds out a peice of paper "Simply write your name here and then go to your left to pick up your supplies" He smiles wistfully, the list was short so far, he hoped more would come to their rescue.

Sir Roland walked down the town square to the table were the physician sat, He had heard rumors of barberians attacking people and that the port was under threat, requiring able men to defend it. Sir Roland wanted to see if this rumor was true, and if it was, sign up. Sir Roland walked up to the physician and with a nod took the list, quickly signing his name up with a breath of air, hoping that this wasn't the last thing he was ever going to write.

The word had gotten out that barbarians had landed, and as soon as he heard, Captain Rusty Feverfew ran to the town square. A grin made it's way onto his face as he saw the physician and the sign-up sheet next to him. Quickly, he walked over to it, put his name down, and stepped away for the others to do the same. They wanted every dog they could get to fight, and the captain knew that this fight was going to be one he'd probably never forget. Nodding his had at the physician, he turned left to pick up every supplies he would need.

Jeffery was walking the streets when he heard the news blinking he looked around. He looked at the ground beside him he was holding an invisble leash in one hand. "Did you hear that Jude?? We've got savages running around here." He walked on and tugged at the invisible leash heading towards the sign up tables. He puased as he watched a fairy steal a round bit of cheese rolling it along the ground, his invisible pet ran after it. "Jude get back here! Leave that fairy alone. Jude!" He ran after the invisible animal catching it and holding it in his arms as he flicked it on it's nose as he tutted, "Jude you need to stop running after those things. They could poke your eye out." He scolded just before reaching the sign up tables. He looked at the people signing the paper wondering if he should sign up as well or not. Looking to what he held in his arm, "What do you think boy should I sign up?" Looking around he walked and fell into line, "I dunno we could be killed..." he contuined his converstation with his pet. When he got to the table he too his free hand and signed up. "So that's all eh? Well...." he shurgs and walks off towards the other table to get his battle stuff before pausing and blinking at what he thought was a snake and started spazzing out, "Snake!!!! Oh dear loard get it away from me!!!!" when if one was to look at what he was spazzing over they'd see it was nothing but a strand of ribbon.

Down the street came a robed figure towards the signup table, If her father knew what she was doing she wouldent have gotten this far.
Elenor watched the crowd from under her drab pesants hood, she was so glad her friend had agreed to lend it to her. Withought it she would still be back at the manor packing. Her father realy expected her to turn tail on her home, her life and the people she loved while thay died protecting this port! Well she had had other plans, sure she was gentry, but the head of the guard himself had taught her a thing or two in there self defence classes when she was younger.
All she needed was to get her name on that paper and there was nothing father could do...
Entering the line she approched the table, the crush of people was oppressive but no worse than any other group of people. As she neared the table she bowed her head more as if to read the conscript, soon it was her turn and noone had stoped her yet. Grasping the quilled pen she wrote in the most elegant way bespeaking her station : Lady Elenor of house Mandrake.
She finished the writing with the symbol of her house befor pulling back the hood, looking the patrician in the eyes and saying "I am with you, Call apon me at my house."
She turned and grasped one of the satchles of supplies. She fully intended to use it like any other conscript here. Then lifting it strode out of the crowd and started home...

Curious of all the fuss in the area Keesa had wandered up from the supply ship to the conscript table, she arrived just in time to see an odd sight, a Youth acting oddly at a ribbon, to start and a stately female of teh gentry walking up the street with pesanets clothes and a supply sack over one sholder. Keesa had come back to port from teh obsidian not long ago to fetch supplys, the cook himself had asked her to get. After the whole incodent with the island There supplys were low.
Keesa had missed out on teh whole adveture for teh most part and news of invasion in port had her ears burning.
Would teh captain mind while she was getting supplys if she.. helped the port?.. well with the weather as it was she was stuck here anyhow.
Wandering up to the table she signed the conscript. "Beggan ye parden sir but what was all that about?" she pointed up the street to where the gentry still walked "Don't tell me teh upper class intend to fight!" She said to the phasisian as she picked up her supplys.

Mavros: *looks at the port from a distance, laughing softly so that no one may hear. He spots the fear in the common folk's eyes and his laughter begins to grow a little louder. Using his sword, he begins to draw a map of the port on the ground, marking areas which may look like some of great importance. Then, after he finishes his markings, he looks at the city once more* Fools. All of you are fools. Soon, I and the rest of my army will slaughter both the weak and the strong then all will bow before me or die!

As Blue walked up to the table, she was not as brave as she had made out to be. "I am not one to fight, but I am good at helping heal the wounded. If there is a need for that, then please sign me up."

Redbeard was never one to miss out on a fight, if anything this looked like a right nice brawl to him. His dark eyes peerd out from under the hood, that didn't mwean he wanted to be arested. He passes Keesa and pats ehr on the shoulder whispering "don't git in over ye head lassy" his one eye sparks beneathe that hooded cloak and the eye winks, he would trust a few on this little escapade with his identity, but he wasn't about to show himself to the navy, he wasn't up for being hanged, not yet any way!
He strolls to the table and signs his name as John smith, he noticed there were alot of other 'smitthys' on the list and he couldn't help but laugh at that, alot of pirates loved a brawl. He ndded to the physisian from under the cloak and moved to the next table where he picked up a satchel, it had food, bandages, and a knife in it, next to each pack was a sword, or a pike, Jay went directly for a sword, it was a good strong one too, navy provided no doubt, he'd be making sure that this got away from the battle and joined his arms abord his ship.

The physician looks up from his table, he looked, overly surprised at the fact that there was a gentry lady at his table, and she had signed up, "now wait just a.." but he was cut short by others signing up, oh he was going to get it in the neck for this one. he sighed, nobles, they didn't know a damned thing about real battles, he hardly knew a thing about real battles! Looking to all the beasts that had approached though he couldn't help but smile, they were a hefty looking bunch, full of themselves, the captain of the moth had even come, there were also alotof cats, everyone knew that cats were pirates, but he wasn't about to argue withthem, they probably wanted to protect their port just as much as everyone else. He sighed and shook his head turning his gaze upon the young cabin cat that arrived before him "I'm sure I could use an assistant young miss, just sign heer and I will get you some supplies." he smiled at blue before turning his attention to the ever growing lines, strong muscled cats, hefty navy boys and even the odd, if some what crazed peasent, perhaps they would have a chance after all, perhaps, he certainly hoped they had a chance, he had heard much of these barbariens, they were a dangerous creed of beasts.

Young Joseph quickly ran along behind Redbeard, looking at the sign ups as his ears twitched, small gold ear ring tinkling before he stepped forward and jotted his named down on the sign up page with the quill.

This was a big battle, he wouldn't back down, he'd be brave and strong, like his pa' was.
He then stepped back and stood next to his captain, tail swishing back and forth anxiously as some of the older men snickered at him, probably because he was just a lad...well he'd show them!

Redbeard smiled wanely beenathe the hood of his cloak, he lifted a golved hand and ruffled the youngsters ears "you just stay close to me my lad, we'll make sure that those slimey lizards get a gob full of fist won't we?" he winks, it was always a strange sight the captain winking, he only really had one good eye and he always closed it when he winked.
