AHAHAHA. Which boss in a game gave you the most trouble and/or made you feel stupid and/or beat your a** within an inch of your life right at the end? For me it's (surprisingly NOT Trauma Center) Xigbar from Kingdom Hearts II, because each of his attacks are cheap.
Xigbar fangirl: Xiggy's attacks are NOT cheap!! They're just FAST!! Me: rolleyes Like ambushing you with a million missiles from every corner of the room isn't cheap...
*note: the poll will get updated every once in awhile, so check back 3nodding *

Most difficult bosses I've encountered:
- Any boss in any SNK fighting game. If you've played King of Fighters, Samurai Showdown, Neo Geo Battle Colosseum, Fatal Fury, etc., you'll know what I mean.
- That damned spider from Trauma Center.
- The female demon in the church in Ninja Gaiden.
- Garino in Gungrave: Overdose.
- The final boss in Phantom Dust.
- Virgil in Devil May Cry 3.
- The final boss in any Castlevania game (since it is not always Dracula)
- Final fight with the Demonhand from the game Godhand (which is a game made by Clover, who also made Viewtiful Joe and *gasp* Okami.)

Vergil in DMC 3 was hard. So I got cheat codes that give you infinite Devil Trigger. I'm such a cheater. xP It's a fun cheat though. It gives you all of the outfits for both Dante and Vergil (since I don't think I've ever seen a DMC3 that wasn't special edition) and all difficulty modes. Heaven or Hell is my favorite, even though I can't get past the first mission. sweatdrop
AND SAVATO IS PISSING ME OFF. I almost had it. SO. DAMN. CLOSE. crying I swear I had an emotional breakdown when I failed. Then my sister and her friends made fun of me and said, "It's probably not even that hard. I bet I could to it bla bla bla" And then they took off. evil

I usually play the game honestly once, and then cheat the hell out of it in later playthroughs. ^_^

I actually DID beat DMC3 with the cheat on, but not using the infinite Devil Trigger outfit(s). I prefer Dante shirt/coatless, but that's me and my fangirl ways. rolleyes Also, the Sparda outfit is pretty cool, mostly because a) his DT kicks the crap out of Dante's and Vergil's in terms of appearance and badassery and b) his shadow looks like his DT.

I loved the Sparda outfit. I also liked the DMC 1 outfit, since I'm oldschool like that. ^_^

Heh heh, yeah. All of Dante's outfits are cool, except the DMC2 one. DMC2 SUCKED. There, I said it. And I don't know anyone who doesn't agree with me. I think basically everything in that one killed what I was used to with the original, and it made me kind of skeptical of DMC3. Luckily, DMC3 kicks major a**. So all is well, for the most part.

I've never played DMC2, but I want to only for storyline reasons.

You know, I think in terms of the whole series' storyline, the order is DMC3->DMC...4?->DMC1->DMC2 I know for a fact that DMC3 is first and DMC2 is last. The story is...kinda crappy too. It's basically...some girl wants Dante to go to this island to stop this guy from taking over her families' land and the guy's trying to summon this all-powerful demon. Or something. I wasn't paying too much attention. Also, I haven't played it since....last March, probably. It sucks that bad, at least for me.

Also, I'm curious as to when Dante's involvement in Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne occurs in the DMC storyline. Dante kicks a** in Nocturne.

Nocturne is simply amazing. And Dante looks pretty sweet with the early Shin Megami Tensei art style.
