Elisabeth "Lisa" Mason stepped onto the dock at the Katrina port. She shuffled nervously as she took her suit case from the boat's staff. She carried her things into a taxi, which took her to a house on the outskirts of the city.
"Hello, Uncle Sebastian!" Lisa greeted her uncle happily as he opened the door.
"Oh," said Sebastian, "is that my little Lisa? My how you've grown! Let me take your things for you. I wasn't expecting you, so your room isn't quite ready yet. How about you go and explore the city for a while?"
Lisa decided to take her uncle's advice, but she was new, and got lost quickly.
Dusk arrived, and Lisa had no idea how to get back. She sighed as she sat at a cafe table...

Arin yawned and stretched her arms behind her head, walking along the quiet road at dusk. There were still a few people out, but for the most part the streets were pretty empty. Her Cubone, Hush, was also rather tired, and had decided to cling to Arins shoulders- using her backpack as a seat.
Bone club in one hand, and her new Jigglypuff plushie in the other, Hush looked about as content as she could be. Dozing off, she was careful to keep one arm wrapped around a strap, so as not to fall off.
Walking by a cafe, Arin spotted a lone girl sitting at one of the tables, looking distressed. It wasn't normal for a random girl to be alone without at least a pokemon.
"Hey, are you okay? You looked kinda upset.." She said, not wanting to assume and be wrong.

Lisa looked up at her inquisitor. In the dim light of twilight, her imediate thought was that the combined shape of Hush and Arin was one, truly terrifying monster. She gasped and jumped up, only to see that is was just a person and a Pokemon.
"I, I'm sorry." Lisa apologized, "I'm new here, and I got lost. Do you know how to get to the road that goes to the north-west side of the city?"

Hush woke up a bit, peering over Arins shoulder to blink her eyes sleepily at Lisa.
"Cuuuu.."
She said, tiredly, before dozing off again.
Arin laughed and smiled, nodding and holding out her hand.
"Yeah, I'm headed in that direction. I'm staying with my parents tonight," She said, shuddering. "and they live on that side of town. My name is Arin, by the way."
"And this lazy bugger is Hush, my Cubone." She said, laughing as Hush whipped her tail on the backpack, still sleeping.

"Thank you, Arin. My name is Elisabeth, but most people call me Lisa." Lisa walked around Arin to get a better look at Hush. "Wow, I've heard about Pokemon, but I've never gotten to see one so up close. It's cute!"

Hush moved slightly in her sleep, hugging the Jigglypuff doll closely.
"Hehe, yeah, she is a sweetheart. Really tired. We had to fight off some Murkrow earlier who tried to steal her doll. Well, sort of." Arin laughed, remembering the events from earlier on that day.
"Well, we should probably get going. Just follow me.." She said, starting to walk down the road to the north.

Lisa followed Arin closely, looking around occasionally to check for danger, but mostly staring at Hush, thinking Wow, she's cute. I wonder if all Pokemon are that cute.

Arin sighed and breathed in the air. Despite being in a city, there was very little pollution, and the air was still nice and clear.
Hush, after a few minutes, woke up from her nap and yawned. After stretching her arms she blinked and looked at Lisa, holding her plushie close.
"Cuuu?"

Lisa waves at Hush. "Hey, Arin, where did you get Hush? She's absolutely adorable!" Lisa says as she attempts to pet Hush.

Hush happily let Lisa pet her, eager for the attention.
"Oh, Hush?" Arin grinned. "I actually found her, and she kinda just.. Accepted me as her owner I guess. More of a friend really. Didn't make my parents too happy- they are breeders and wanted me to have a 'special' baby, but Hush is the best I could have asked for."

Lisa continued petting Hush.
"Wow, my parents and I lived in a big city, so I never got that much exposure to Pokemon save for battles at the stadium. I'm saying with my uncle to get some fresh air while I plan on what to do now that I'm out of school."
Suddenly, Lisa had an idea. "Hey, I wonder if I could be a Pokemon trainer? I bet it's hard, but it looks fun, too."

Arin grinned widely as she turned onto another street, heading east.
"It is fun. Well, i'm hoping to become more of a breeder than a trainer, really.." She said, stopping to think for a moment before remembering which way to go.
"Any of this looking familiar?"

Lisa looked around. Everything was cast in a different light, so it was hard to tell, but she did recognize a shop front. "Yes, I've been here before. I'm sure of it. My uncle's house should be down this road, if I remember correctly..." Lisa gave Hush a final pat on the head before heading off. "Thank you so much, Arin! Let's meet again some time!" Lisa yelled back as she waved and headed off into the sunset. ((RP Done?))

Arin smiled and waved happily.
"Bye! I'm sure I'll see you again soon!" With that she headed back down the road- her parents house was just around the corner.
[I guess. We could continue on this board if you don't wanna make a new one. But we need to think of what to do first. xD]
