Since this seems to be the general disscussion area, I figured that I should bring up something else thats ... Uh, general and discussable, as lame as that sounds.
Has any one ever heard of the book called "Pay It Forward."?
I believe that this is right up our alley, considering the mission of this guild and its members. (Helping people, making life a little bit better through change.)
Well, if you haven't heard of the book, or even read it, let me tell you what its about.
Basically, its a movie and a book based off of the idea of some one paying deeds forward, rather then back to the person who gave it too them, and how paying it forward spreads kindness through the world rather then sending it back and forth between a select few people.

Its an awesome idea in my opinon, and I wanted to see what you guys thought about it?
Perhaps we should all start paying it forward, and sharing information with others about giving back to the world, and not just to those who help us.

Ah! I didn't know it was a book, too.
I loved the movie.
...Though I haven't watched it in a few years and barely remember what happened.

I read the book first, and then found out it was a movie. That teacher was crazy, but the mother was even crazier.

Its a great movie, another one similar and perhaps betty "Good Will Hunting" that really is a must see. Oww and Thirteen, its not the same style but is a great film none the less. I recommend either of those two.
I had no idea it was a book... is the film based on the book? I'd find it hard reading the book knowing how it ended.

I really like the book, but I like most books, so...
I'm not crazy about the movie, though. It's good, but not necessarily great.

And I'm pretty sure I watched it in school a while ago, although I can't quite remember all of it.
It is a good idea.
And I have a feeling that I liked the movie, lol
