Rain pounded heavily on the village hidden in the mist. The thud of the rain tapping against the windows, roofs, and grounded was the only sound that was capable of being heard that morning, all in exception for the howling wind that would pass by every so often. The windows of house would chatter and appluad and the trees would wave happily as the wind blew past them. Trash on the streets would chase after it like a lost puppy chasing after its forgotten owner. The rain hung next to it like a long lost friend... It was just another stormy morning that would lead to just another stormy day and stormy night in the village hidden in the mist.
Sai yawned loudly, his voice raspy from not using it for so long. Stretching his body across his bed, Sai sluggishly kicked the covers several times until it finally slipped off his body Yawning again Sai rubbed his eyes in the attempt to wake himself as he rolled off his bed and fell onto the floor laughing softly at himself. Groaning he stood up and walk out of his room stubbing his toe against the door making him hop onto one foot before slamming his head against the wall and falling down the stairs roughly, knocking him out. Sai's body was left in the middle of the staircase upside down, his head was bent ackwardly as his body rolled his head with his legs and arms sprawled out.
A hour and a half later Sai finally came to as he fell down the last of the steps leaving lying flat on his back with him staring up at the ceiling. Sai bit his lip and clentched hard at his jeans to avoid screaming in pain from the fall, after a few moment the pain subsided enough for Sai to be able to stand up, "Well that was fun.." He said to himself annoyed as he limped into the kitchen and threw himself into one of the chairs at the table as he messged his neck gently. Sometimes he really wondered how he was still alive when things like that happened all the time, just the oter week he had tripped over a pile of dirty laundry in his room and fell out of the bedroom window landing on his head and ended up being knocked out for two hours. When he came to he just laid there in the grass until the pain went down and then he was fine as though nothing happened, it was almost eerie how resistant he was to killing himself accidently. Sai laughed loudly at the thought of killing one self accidently and then being resistant to it? There really had to be something wrong with him if such things popped into his head, "La de da... I'm hungry." Sai said randomly as he hopped out of his chair and prepared his daily breakfeast, a bowl of Frosted Flakes.
Yawning again Sai sat down at his kitchen table with his bowl of ceral and looked out of the window to see the gloomy rain tapping away at his window, "Heh, no wonder I'm so sleepy." He said as he yawned again and took a happy bite of ceral, the wind howling in the background. Sai loved the rain, whther it was just a light rain or heavy; stormy, windy, or thundering he loved it. Only when it rained could Sai be capable of sitting still and relaxing without being bored, or aggitated which would seem like a miracle to most people that knew him well. It kept him at peace when it rain and that in turn sometimes made him sleep more. Laughing Sai shook his head as he drained the milk from the bowl before placing into the sink and ran some warm water into it before starting to wash it. "Hmmm... Today is going to be a good day." Sai said with a tranquil expression on his face. As soon as he was done washing the dish he placed it onto the dish rack to let it dry before walking into the living room and laying his body onto the large comfy sofa. He rested one of his feet on one the arms of couch as the other leg hung limp over the side of the couch. His head laid lightly on a cushin with one of his arms laying ontop of his head and the other laid across his chest. Slowly he closed his eyes as he listened to the rhythmic taps of the rain on the roof and windows of the house, his body seemed to run with a chill through out it as a calmity filled him and cleared his mind of thought. Within a few moments he was a sleep.

Sai sat up quickly as he woke up with the sound thunder booming off in the distance of the storm outside. Smiling to himself he stood up and stretched yawning, his joints cracked loudly as his muscles tensed for a moment before relaxing them as he let his arms fall down to his side. Closing his eyes again and listening to only the sound of the rain and wind Sai made his way upto his room slowly, it was only 11:17 in the morning surprisingly and Sai planned to put the storm and tranquility he was into good use. Yawning as he walked into his bedroom he quickly grabbed the nearest tank top and shirt that he saw, which happened to be a white tank top and a blue button down with orange designs on it. Sighing Sai walked over to his desk and pulled the pouch of marbles off of it and tied it to his waist before turning to his bedroom window and opened it wide. He took a second to close his eyes and allowed the cold wind and freezing rain to hit him, shivers ran down his back as a wide smile spread across his face. He truly did love the rain. Opening his eyes slowly he climbed out of his window and shut it behind him before letting himself dropped down to the muddy ground below.

Sai wrapped his arms around himself and shivered happily as he braved the storm with a smile and a laugh. The winds were picking up and the rain was coming down harder, lightning lashed down every so often and almost hit Sai twice before he reached the fishing lake that was by his house. Sai quickly entered the shade of the trees that surrounded the lake, they were so thick tha barely any of the rain was getting through but the wind however blew even stronger. Laughing Sai removed his now drenched button down shirt and tank top before walking onto the very edge of the shore line as he watched the waters of the lake infront of him raged fiercely infront of him. Wave after wave rose up, some even to the height of fifteen feet, before crashing back down causing violent ripples that would spalsh out at the rocking trees. Sai had to brace himself by leaning foreward as another powerful gust of wind blasted through the lake and forest followed by an increased speed of wind. Now the there were more then one wave sprouting up as they smashed into each other.
Sai rubbed the back of his neck nervously as he untied the black pouch on his side that carried the kanji 'FREE' in red lettering. Opening it slightly, he took a deep breath and flipped it upside down. The mouth of the pouch immediately widened as all sixty-three marbles flowed out before rising back up to float around Sai's body and head. Tieing the pouch back to his side he reach into hi pocket and pulled out his silver chain and pendent, latching it around his neck he took a deep breath and ran straight into the middle of the lake.
Before Sai could even get to the middle of the lake Sai was bombarded by a huge wave that knocked hiom down to the lakes bottom. Sai flipped and turned in the water as he tried to figure out which way was up and which was down. Finally figuring it out he quickly rushed to the surface breaking through the water gasping for air before being smashed back down into the water by another wave. Frustarated he perform several quick hand-signs, "Fangs of Lightning!!" Sai bubbled out from underneath the water as a bolt of forcious lightning beamed straight down to the middle of the lake blowing away the waves and giving a horrible shock of his life. How could he forget that water conducts lightning?

Sai woke up with the crushing sound of a wave landing on him as he laid face down on the shore, "Ugh... Heh, sometimes I really scare myself." He said jokingly to himself as he spat out some water and sand from his mouth and turned to looked at the still raging lake. He had been unconcious for another hour but the lake hadn't settle down one bit, it actually did the opposite and had became even more wild and crazied as multiple waves rose up at once and crashed down into each other with crazied force. Sighing Sai looked around for his marbles but they were no where to be found, chances were they were they had been carried off some where else. Shrugging he quickly performed a few hand signs before leaning against a nearby rock as he watched the waves to continue to crash into each other and spray water all over the place. Wind had died down a bit but the waves were going at it just a powerful as ever. But that was exactly what Sai needed for his training to day as he grinned widely his eyes followed something, several somethings, zoom through the waves before stopping directly infront of him. Smiling he quickly directed his marble to start spinning around his body. "Time to test this jutsu out.." He said quietly to himself before charging back into the lake, his body bent low to the goround as the marbles began to spin faster and faster around his body until it was impossible to actually see him. "Marble Style: Tunnel Drill!" Sai shouted as he launched himself off the ground and spun straight into a rising wave. All that could be seen was a greyish tornado flying straight at the wave, and for a moment it seemed as though the tornado was going to win but upon impact the top of the tornado smashed through the wave before the all the marbles shooting out at random as the wave smashed Sai back down into the water for the third time.

Sai screamed from beneath the surface of the water as the continous crashing of waves preveted him from rising back up to the surface. Violently sai tumbled left and right and was spun around and around beneath the waters surface against his own will. What had gone wrong? He had done the jutsu right? Well that couldn't be proven since it was a jutsu in the making and from what had just happeed it proved quite against it. He knew he had broken some what through the wave, did he not have enough power? Did he time wrong? No he couldn't have timed wrong since their should be no timing. It was merely a test could it o could it not break through something that was moving. Maybe he didn't put enough chakra, or didn't move fast enough... But this was all stuff that didn't make that much of a difference when your drowning.
Growling Sai began performing hand-signs again, but this time he planned on gtting out of the water the smart way. "Marble Style: Tunnel Drill!" He shouted from beneath the water as all of his marbles zoomed to him quickly and began spining wih even more speed the the first time. The effect of that was a large whirlpool of water started forming around Sai as he was left standing on the lake's bottom, the water ad all bben sucked outside of the spinning marbles to join the whirlpool. Smiling he quickly crouched down to the floor as he began focusing his chakra more thickly into the marbles. Slowly a thick purple lining filled inbetween all of the marbles connecting them together more solidly. As soon as he was confident that he ad introduced enough chakra into the jutsu he sprung his legs straight up as he soared straight through the surface of the water and high into the air. The speed and strength of the attack plus the extra chakra placed into it allowed Sai to cut straight through the water and waves like paper. The marbles immediately stopped spinning as he entered the air and began to float around him as he continued to rise slowly in the air. It was quite a sight to behold, a half naked pink haired boy surrounded by marbles floating in the air with his arms outstretched calmly and one of his legs bent. Truly a kodak moment.
Sai marvaled at the water beneath him, the waves were still rampaging but now there was a huge whole in the middle of the lake. Rapidly the hole started to form into a large whirlpool that sucked the waves to crashed into it. Grinning as he slowly started to descend back to the ground, he had flown up at an angle so now he was falling onto the shore, his eyes watched with interest of what his jutsu had caused.

Sai panted heavilyas he watched the waters of the lake slowly return back to a calm peaceful state before raging on with large multiple waves. It was the same everytime he used the attack and he didn't know why, maybe the way he pumped out his chakra into the attack was what was making the lake react this way. Each time Sai pumped chakra before releasing the attack the waves wuld become more and more aggressive and then it would calm down greatly before finally returning to its normal raging self. Sighing and exhausted Sai plopped imself down onto a nearby stone and examined one of his marbles as he turned it between his index and thumb. The marble floated out of his hand and started to spin around around in a small circle that was natural for the beginning of the jutsu and then it started to move up and down in a circular pattern much like if it was screwing into something. Sai nodded to himself as he watched the marble repeat the action as it hovered in mid-air, that was the main mechanics of the jutsu and he originally thought if he were to do that at a quick enough pace it would be able to create a huge destructive force but he was proven wrong when it was attempted. Sighing he let the marble drop into his out reached palm before he summoned five more to join it. He wanted to know why it failed the first time, what had gone wrong... Once again, but this time it was six marbles instead of one, the marbles rose up and began sinning in one circle. Slowly they started to seperate from each other, forming three circles; The top circle with one marble, the middle with two and the third with three. Within a few moments they began moving in the screw type spin that was needed to perform the jutsu.
Soon the marbles were spinning at such a speed that they were no longer visible as anything but as one single torpido-like blur. Turning it horizontally Sai quickly jumped off the stone he was sitting on and directed the marbles to strike through it. At once the torpido shoot off and hit the stone before falling down lifelessly. Sighing Sai walked towards he stone to examine the damage done, the leading marble was wedged in a small hole on the stones surface. Growling irratated Sai sommoned the marbles back to him and instructed it to re-inact what had happened upon inpact but in slow motion. At once the marbles came together and begame spinning as it was before. The moment it turned onto its side it slowed down to a frame by frame react of impact, in which it showed the first marble spring back to the seond one stopping the flow of the attack and nuetralizing it completely. "So that was what was happening..." He said sadly as he now realized what was wrong with the original mechanics of the first set-up.

Nodding to himself, Sai commanded the marbles to repeat the process it was just doing. Making a single hand-signs as the marbles were once again spinning as they were before, purple chakra slowly began to envolpe all six marbles making it seems as though they each had their own little aura. Within a few moments strands of the chakra started to reach out to each other before connecting to each other into a little line, just like what had happened when Sai had done it the first time while under water. Once the chakra had formed and was more solid Sai directed the marbles to attack the stone again, and just like last time he marbles tilted onto its side before zooming at extreme speeds into the stone. But this time the marbles cut straight through the rock, leaving a spinning hole going straight through the middle.
Half an hour later Sai sat ontop of the stone scratching the back of his head while smiling contently to himself. The stone itself was now covered with holes, some that rached from one side to the next and others that went only to a certain deepness. Sai now fully understood the mechanics of his jutsu and what was needed to make it work completely. There needed to be certain amount of solidfied chakra connecting the marbles to gether, and there had to be an exact amount of chakra too. If there was too much chakra the attack became much more ferocious but also it was completely controllable, he noted a tree off in the distance that was cut in half, he had no control over the attack if there was too much chakra being pumped in... And if there was too little then it would just collaspe upon contact and be worthless. No, there needed to be a certain amount of chakra for it to be strong enough to penatrate but still be controllable and on top of that the amount needed would change depending on how widely spread out the marbles were set, the length, and overall the amount used.
Sai yawned happily to himself as he grabbed his water lagged shirts and tied his marble pouch back to his waist. It was now 1:46 am and the storm was still raging on, the lake had yet to calm down at all during this time, and Sai was feeling the tiredness and cold all the way in his bones. But despite all this he was proud of himself, in the last thirteen hours and twenty-nine minutes he had perfected his newest jutsu. Thirteen and a half hours of fighting the storm, waves, and the want of sleep... Thirteen and a half hours of experimenting on the technique, of changing dependent variables of the jutsu and watching how the independent would react... Recording and re-recording everything he could about what was happening in his head until he finally was confident that he had everything he would need on the jutsu. Thirteen and half well spent hours and now he was ready to go home and sleep for more then twice that amount of time.
Grinning as he doubled checked he had everything he needed and had brought with him to the lake, Sai made a series of hand-signs and dissappeared from the area and reappeared in his room. Simply throwing his stuff to the side of the room he dropped his body onto his bed and fell deeply asleep.
