 Taja laid down on the soft grass after her long run. I need to find someone to run with sometime... she thought as she relaxed alittle and closed her eyes so she could strengthen her ears. Slight ruffling here and there but nothing out of the ordinary. she thought as she laid her head down alittle.

The muffled thud-thud of heavy hoofsteps carried on the wind. A soft snort, the flick of short sapphire tail against muscled rump.
Lifting his head, the blue stallion yawned silently, eyes closed tight for a moment. Shaking his head, short mane quivering but otherwise not budging, he stopped and stood still. Long ears flickered back and forth as he took in the view. Off to one side he spotted something that was very un-grass like. Rounded and a soft russet red...
Curious he shifted round to face it, either it was a mound of earth that breathed or....

Taja heard something come up behind her. She stood up and turned towards it. "Who is there?" she asked as she noticed a blue stallion come out of the bushes. Taja stepped back alittle not sure if he would be a foe or not. "What do you want?" she asked as she tried to get ready for whatever would happen.

Cloud had stopped in the attitude of an old man, long neck stretched out lazily, the slow flick of his short tail barely visible behind him. Ears pricked forwards he watched as the mare stood and backed up, her short, nervous words making him feel guilty.
Lifting his head slightly he smiled at her, a friendly, honest smile that matched his warm grey eyes. "My apologies miss, I didn't mean to disturb you. I’m just passing through." He lifted his head little further, upright blue mane quivering along his muscled neck. Though his body was still held loose, one back hoof resting against the ground as if caught in mid-step and then forgotten.

Taja smiled and nodded. Her mane laid softly on her neck in perfect manor. "It's alright." she said standing up straight. "I'm sorry.... It's not your fault." she said as she flicked her tail slightly and she tried to not worry.

He tilted his head, still with the warm smile in place. "No need to appolagise." He replied, voice a low quiet rumble. Soothing and calm at the same time. He studied her a moment. She was definately anxious over something. "Are... you being hunted, or anything?" He asked, head lifting a little.

"Well... Not really." she said with a smile. "But thank you for your concern." Taja said as she tilted her head. Her brown eyes sparkled alittle as she flicked her tail. "Are you in trouble or meeting someone?" she asked in curiousity.

He bobbed his head, chuckling softly. "I see.." Soft grey eyes lifted to the mare's own once again as he shifted his weight, resting his other back leg. "Neither.. I am a wanderer. I simply decided to walk in this direction." He replied, deep voice gentle almost sleepy. He was seeking somewhere to rest, having travailed through the hours of darkness. He found it rather more safe to sleep during the day than at night when kalona and skinwalkers tended to be more active.

"I see.... I wander around as well." she said with a nod noticeing that his voice seemed to fluxuate alot. "Are you tired or something?" she asked curiously as she studied his eyes for more details of what he was about. "If you are I know a good place to rest where no one will bother you." Taja said as a smile crossed her muzzle.

((*flails around and beats up gaia and internets* Ive answered this three times already!!!! Stop eating my posts gaiaaaaaaaaaa! Im sorry Kiana, now re-posting, again.))
Pulling his resting leg under him he spread his weight evenly, tail flicking against his rump as he straightened, attempting to look a little less like a bum and more like a respectable stallion.
Pricking his ears he tilted his head at her, looking interested. "yes I am.. " He chuckled softly. "I am sorry for my ragged apperance, I am usually a little better than this." He fought down the urge to yawn again, shaking his head instead. "That is very kind of you... would it be possible to intrude myself on your time and visit this hidden haven?"

((Oh it's alright. xD No biggie to me. :]))
Taja nodded to the blue stallion. "You look fine, just a bit tired is all. And it is possible" she said as she walked forward. "This way." Taja spoke softly as she started walking in the direction of the field that was well hidden and secluded. "It's only a few steps away, but no one else knows of this spot." Taja said nodding alittle and giving him a smile.

He chuckled, voice deep and husky from sleepiness. "Thank you for your kindness.. it is much appreciated I assure you." he ment both her kind words about his disheveled apperance, and her willingness to show him this safe place, and even to allow him to know of it.
Moving forwards he followed the slim mare through the grasses, ears bobbing to each side as he struggled to with hold yet another yawn.
