LOL I LOVE IT.
I honestly think some are being kind of sensitive about it, especially speaking that it's more than likely that she's not wearing it to be a lolita. One of the things I admire about her is that she goes outside the norm at times when it comes to her fashion style, and I think she just stepped into an AP store when she was on tour/whatever, thought the skirt set was cute and decided that she's gonna make something of her own style out of that.

HotTopic has known about lolita, and repeatedly brutalized it, for years. XD
They try to sell Tripp corset-tanks and the like as lolita, along with Lip Service and one actually close-to-the-mark-but-still-weird JSK or two.

but uhhh.. why isn't she wearing anything underneath it... for lolita or any other style it looks underdressed.

I don't have an opinion on Lil Mama wearing it, because I have almost no idea who she is and I don't really care who wears Lolita. >__>
However, I don't like how it was altered and the lack of a shirt underneath it. The glitter seemed a bit excessive, and with no shirt, it looked incomplete and not very 'classy.'

I love it. My only qualm would be that it doesn't seem very red-carpet appropriate, but it's an awesome outfit nonetheless.

I think the red chucks actually look really cute with the outfit.
The comments on the LJ page made me laugh though. All the poor lolis were having seizures at the fact that she didn't fit the exact lolita image.
I personally like seeing fashions mixed to make something unique. So what if she isn't wearing a blouse or stockings? As long as it looks good, it's fine.
I think we all, as a community, need to lighten up a little.

I agree. it looks nice but kinda underdressed for the lolita style...but..i wonder if she was really trying to dress in the style in the first place.. question

 I think that she doesn't really know how to wear lolita but she does look so cute in it. And I don't think she's trying to wear lolita.
Well, she's really got individuality and at least she dares to try it out. She's really got style. And she dares to be different. I mean, can you imagine Rihanna wanting to wear it?
And well, I think she looks super super cute in it.
And perhaps, if she wore a blouse and a pair of MJS and stockings, she would look like a really cute lolita (:
